Premier League Matchweek 5 16th-18th September

Stupid from Januzaj - you can't go in like when you're on a booking and Dean is the referee.

That Sunderland CB is really shite. Why don't we sell Rojo to Sunderland? He will be an upgrade on that player despite being shite for us.

There's no way that's not a yellow regardless of the ref.
Well a lot of players this season have gotten away with second yellows - Costa (twice), Carzola yesterday, Coquelin against Leicester, Mane against Spurs - but Dean is not the referee to give a player any sort of chance or leeway. Right decision, but another referee might've given him a final warning - no chance of that with Dean.

Hm might be right. But I think any ref would send him off if he had a clear view of it. Well whatever, a very stupid move from Januzaj anyway.

Good performance from Spurs, tho' we should have scored more than just 1.

Up into 3rd place, still unbeaten, another clean sheet and the least goals conceded in the Prem this season so far.

Compared to last season we have the same number of points from the same fixtures, but are 5 points up on where we were after Game Week 5 last season.

The only downside is the number of injuries we picked up - Kane, Dembele and Dier ... right down the team's spine.

I saw 3/4ths of the game and that really was a functional yet uninspiring performance from Spurs against the second worst team in the league so far this season (Stoke take the honours obviously). Liverpool will probably lose to them now I've mentioned it but I can only talk about what I've seen today. But like Glaston says 3 points is 3 points and this keeps the pressure on others who were probably hoping Spurs would give them an opening.

Its all about injuries with Spurs and Leicester this season. It was always going to be as I'm sure most mentioned in the summer. CL football, cup football, even international football, its all coming thick and fast. Wasn't Walker also holding his hamstring? Surely with his history of injuries (to rival Dembele's) that's something to come into play later?

Oh what a lovely start to the weekend. Not only have we got a huge smile until Monday, Chelsea fans will have to chew tacks until then as well. :D

Deeney and Ighalo can make this weekend even better! ;)

Well my ball sack looks like a sucked out orange segment right now. :)
