Premier League Matchweek 3 August 27 - 28

Seriously would keepers not be better off seeing what way the ball goes first on a penalty. The best ones you ain't gonna save anyway but there's loads hit just down the middle or with feck all power.

Shite scorelines so far.
To be expected really... Last season was a fluke that won't be repeated. I'd expect the top sides to be a lot more consistent this year and pick up way more points. Probably going to be high 80's points needed to win the league like normal.

Would you have settled for 4 points from your first 3 before the season started? It looks kind of acceptable to me, all things considered.
I'd have hoped for 8 pts. 2 wins and 2 draws. However realistically 7 pts from 3 away games and 1 at home inc. Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea. We can still get that by beating Chelsea.

We need to be putting Hull to bed if we really want to put our grip on the title. I know its early on but other teams are doing very well already.

Anyone think Chelsea are likely to be up there right until the end fighting for the title with us and City? I really hope not, they struggled a little in their first two games but popped up with late goals. Can just see them scraping narrow 1-0 and 2-1 wins all season.

Just realised Liverpool have started with 3 away games, weird. They've done alright considering.

Not really. A win is a win. You get the same 3 points for 1-0 and 5-0

Their second match against Burnley should have been at Anfield. They asked to swap as they are still redeveloping the main stand.

How are the other matches? Not keen on watching Arsenal batter Watford for 90mins

The smaller teams this season wont stand a chance against the top dogs. Its not like last season. Teams have learned.

Kone with a dreadful miss for Sunderland. Header from 6 yards out, no marker on him and he sends it wide.

Sunderland well on top at the moment, mostly down the right hand side though (Januzaj's on the left)

I think if we still had van Gaal we could have got 100% possession against Burnley

First time watching Xhaka and only half an hour in but seems to have a excellent range of passing
