Premier League Matchweek 22 (Jan 21-22)

Some confidence for Southampton going into the game against St.Klopp will do just fine.

Why ? I want them in the final, would be a huge game. 16 years after a league final against them also.

I don't care who we meet in the final, all I care about is the trophy and facing Southampton increases that chance.

Awful super sunday, Hull and Burnley will get turned over.

Perez has looked good whenever I've seen him but I've yet to see him start a PL game since joining Arsenal. I think Giroud, Alexis, Ozil and Iwobi is a fine attack but I'm curious to see how Lucas instead of Iwobi would work.

He wasn't offside, but the Sky co-commentator keeps mentioning that Morgan didn't try to claim offside, as if that even means anything in the decision making. The man judged to be offside was behind Morgan, so how would he have known anyway?

Burnley have 4 wins in their last 6 with their only loss a 2-1 defeat to Man City in which they caused lots of problems. Not saying they'll get a result at Arsenal but I wouldn't be surprised if they did. They're certainly no walkover though.

Burnley away is a tough fixture. Home to Burnley is the easiest game of the season (they have only picked up 1 point away this entire season).

Shane Long has played brilliantly since coming on, shown a lot of energy and that Cedric, geeeeez hes playing great from what I've seen in the second half.

I said after last season, Leicester should have just cashed in on Vardy, Kante, Schmeichel and Mahrez and used the money (of which there would be a fair bit) to basically build/buy an entire new squad to compete in the top half of the table.

All of those wins were at home. This season they've managed 2 draws and 9 losses from 11 games. One of those 9 losses was against Accrington Stanley too. If they manage to get a goal it'll be a bit of an upset.

Not only is he not offside but he didn't touch the ball.

If he was offside it would've been the right call because he was the one putting pressure on Morgan to go for the ball. Looked like his shoulder might've been 1cm offside, and in this case giving the benefit of the doubt to the team on the ropes doesn't seem like a big deal.

Christ I wasn't aware of that. Can't believe how shite that team must be to draw to Burnley at home.

Leicester are embarrassingly poor this season. Their defending is as shambolic as the scousers.

How have Leicester gone so bad? Obviously they massively overachieved last season, but surely they're better than this, even without Kante.

Just saw Ranieri's post match interview... Kudos to him for his honesty there and actually answering the question. I can't help but to like that guy.

They're playing like a Brazilian footballer in team form. 1 sparkling season at the peak of their powers then the fall.

Ha good analogy. Something not right at the club by the looks of things. The players don't seem to give a feck.
