Premier League Matchweek 22 (Jan 21-22)

klopp putting matip on for long ball football  terrific start to a saturday

Well deserved win for Swansea - they were excellent. Can't see Chelsea, Arsenal or Utd dropping points so it will probably be a bad weekend for us.

Wow football really is a funny old game isn't it.

Swansea have been absolutely horrid these last few months, then go and tan Liverpool! hilarious.

Llorente you diamond.

Liverpool running out of steam over winter due to their headless chicken style. Why did nobody see that coming?
I said it after the Sunderland game, that Klopp might have shot their legs, will pay for it the whole season and miss the top four. Also Klopp is an idiot for playing Can, Origi and Sturridge over and over. They are complete hacks. When Origi accidentally scored five in five, they should have sold him 30M. Should have brought on Woodburn at 2-2 to lift the crowd.

Never have Liverpool dropping points felt better than in these times with that smug cnut Klopp as their manager. I'm chuffed.

I had to double check what I saw just now:eek: Obviously didn't watch, but how the hell did Swansea beat Pool?!

Coutinho played
I know he did, looked 10x better with him than without him even resorting to long balling, him and Lallana the only ones looking to drive forward today. Point stands they're usless without them.

Had a feeling Swansea would put up some fight today. Brilliant!

The fact Klopp resorted by long ball football and subbing on Matip to stand upfront was absolutely beautiful too.

Oh I love it!!! I missed the kick off and what do I see? 2:3 for Swansea at Liverpool!!! This is a delight.

What's up with Guardiola's face? I must've missed something.

It's a tactic any manager would employ when you're losing with 10 mins to go. Go as directly as possible and hope for the best. It sound hypocritical but on the pitch it's the easiest option when you're chasing a game.

Not surprised with the result, this is pretty much our blip. Probably started around December.

You clearly missed Klopps comments after our match, didn't you?

Huge result that. If City beat Spurs then Spurs, City and Liverpool would all be on 45 points. If we can beat Stoke we'd only be 2 points behind those 3.
A draw is more suitable though. No need to catch all 3. First discourage City, then Liverpool, and then focus on the 2nd place. Once there, we'll look at Chelsea and see what can be done.

Of course it is, so he should keep his mouth shut because he may just use it himself one day. Like today.

I'll be honest. I want Spurs to win, although that might be because I have money on them to win the title.

I predicted this last week after they drew against us. They put in too much.

I might be a real wizard.
