Premier League Matchweek 13 November 21 - 23

One off performance by the dippers, as evidenced by 4 goals from only 41% possession. Expect City to bounce back next week and Liverpool to regress.

They played well but few teams in the league will defend as woefully as that against them. City's defence were pathetic. Klopp's teams press really hard early in games and fade as the match goes on, the smaller clubs in the league will just sit in on them and that is where they will drop points IMO, as they already have done under him.

City really seem to depend on Kompany too much. Did Otamendi play today?

Just saw Leicester is top of the table, how did that happen

Let's hope so. I'm the first to put them down, but let's not pretend Pool just snuck in, had 4 attempts and were lucky to score 4 barely being in the game!
They absolutely dominated City in a way I don't think I've seen an English club do since the money.
Pool could very well have scored 10 today, Hart saved loads.

Who is Leicester's goalkeeper?

Yep true, which I had forgotten. Presumed he was sucking up to Lineker primarily!

To be fair, I wasn't the guy with the problem with it.
I find these fans who sniff through loads of people's tweets a little over the top. It's bad enough us grown men writing on here

He has a knack of changing teams and hopping on bandwagons.

One week, if he's talking about United, he'll be all "Oh we are this" and "we are that" ....The next week, if he's talking about City, it could be "Oh we are this and United are that"
His son plays for Leicester, so he is going to back him.

ROFL !! Did you even watch the match ?

Yeah...and you are now 11th? You are getting there.....

Need a Spurs win tomorrow to put a nice gap between them and Liverpool.
I'm simply not bothered by any gap at the moment, whether Spurs win or not tomorrow. We have already played Arsenal/United/Everton/Spurs/Chelsea & Man City all away from home (add Stoke too if you like - for a tough ground to go to) with still almost 2/3 of the season to go. Rodgers was in charge for half of those we have played so now with Klopp I expect that remaining 2/3 of the season is going to be a lot brighter, to say nothing of players starting to return from injury (we had almost a full team out from the 1st team squad just 2 weeks ago). A Top 4 bet is worth serious consideration/money.

Yeah sure, you're not bothered if Spurs are points ahead or not. You having played teams will be irrelevant if they move 7-8 points ahead in a few weeks time. You're in a race for 4th and you need to keep close to Spurs, and away from Chelsea. You expect the remaining 2/3rd of the season to be brighter, but so do they

Sure he said about a year ago that City were a better/bigger club than United.

Well, they were champions to be fair.

Anyway, I meant more about him being all "we, we, we" when discussing City. Really doubt (or hope) any of that happened in recent history.

City have never, and will never be a bigger club than Manchester United.

Don't know about recently but, he has in the past.

Yep. Good performance but also a one off in that City were horrible. They seemed distracted / didn't have their heads fully in the game.
