Premier League Matchday 4 (Sep 9-11)

The refs blowing as soon as a player hits the ground ruins so many games. If a player goes over they just get sold every time.

It just occurred to me that the English Premier League is scarcely English anymore. Even the smaller clubs are full of non-English players these days.

I really wish refs would just let the game go sometimes. If there's foul just give it a second and have a quick look for advantage. They blow their whistles way too quick.

Really disrupts any rhythm.

They come cheaper. When clubs want a lot more for their homegrown talent I don't blame them for going abroad for players

And yet the quality of football is still quite shit. Very entertaining though.

It was the right decision to not give the penalty. Merino didn't have to go down and I don't understand why he did.

To me that is more a three-match ban than yesterday (Liverpool's Sadio Mane being sent off against Manchester City). To me that is blatant gamesmanship from Merino
Steve Claridge on the BBC. :wenger:

How are these clowns paid for their opinions?
