Premier League Matchday 21 (January 1-3)

I agree but Lukaku had the brunt end of those stats shown to world when we went to Anfield yet I'd say Firminho could be doing even worse so far.
Its strange, the pundits are claiming this is a fantastic game but that's because of City.
They're giving Liverpool shared credit for what City are doing.

But Lukaku is an easy target for stick (his own fans get on his back as much as anyone else) and Firminho is the shining light of the world.

Not really a contest is it.

Sourness defending Kompany with the “he’s not that kind of player” line of defence. He’s exactly that kind of player and that was a red all day.

I would be saying that's it's not ''terrible'' & there's very litle actual contact (luckily). I'd then mention playing 7 a side.

Something like that, :D.

Alisson is a good ball playing keeper my arse

I love goal line technology.

This. Really makes you appreciate how special Xavi, Busquets and Iniesta were as a trio. Absolutely dominated the midfield.

Not once did you worry they would miscontrol or give the ball away. Every time City play it round the back, you are waiting for the stray pass/mistake.

Exactly but I do think 'fear' plays a big component in it too. Barca have it in their DNA that they will play out and play through anything.. yes their philosophy has slightly been tweaked in recent years, but no other club comes close to matching their courage in possession - generally speaking.

Mane has arrogance of Ronaldo but talent of Mane, smug cnut.

Neville relishing in telling us that Liverpool’s quality hasn’t been good enough

Shaky City defence but dominant everywhere else.

Lovren

Pen all day long, proper rugby challenge from Robertson

Honest attempt to win the ball as indicated by the fact that he not once looked at where the ball went when Sterling turned around.

Thats a stonewall peno... touch and go my arse Mr. Dixon.

"There's nothing in it", chimes in Neville, as Robertson wrestles Sterling to the ground in the box.

Taylor is quite Liverpool centred.
