Premier League - Matchday 20

We are so in the mud I've been tired just watching us, let alone bother with the title race. Is 10 years not a lot of worrying about rivals to a point where it ain't worth the stress no more, so who cares? Maybe its just that after 10 years ive realised theres more to life in terms of stress than to allow football to add to that, it ain't worth it.

For some reason I was a lot more upset when liverpool had won it during covid years being their first in the pl era. This year..eh I'd rather someone else but not bothered anymore
They go level with us on PL titles if they win this year. It’s about the only thing left we have over them

True, but what if I were to say to you that the next 10 years we'll be worrying about rivals because they'll be the ones winning titles, would you still be bothering?

And I know it's an if, but let's face it 3-4 years for us to probably get into competing mode and that's a BIG IF we actually get things to work. signings etc

Trust me, if it's another 10 years, it just isn't worth the stress.

The luck of Liverpool that everyone else in the league turns to shit the season they get their act together.
This lfc team is on course for 96 points if this form continues, and that would be the fifth most impressive points tally in the prem so far. However i agree that arsenal, man city and chelsea are all unimpressive to varying degrees.

In theory, there's quite a few we've gotten rid of recently who would probably have been liked by Amorim. Sancho, McTominay, Elanga and Carreras immediately come to mind, and I think Pellestri would have gotten a decent chance too.

That said, the issue with a number of these players wasn't just ability alone. Sancho in particular had clearly gotten to a point of no return. Can't see how you could have a successful cultural reboot with him around.

Yeah I know I will get hammered for suggesting it but maybe it should have been loan with option to buy. That way it would have left door open for Ruben to see him play

Who said that?

It's Liverpool unfortunately.

Maybe Spurs too since they're so Jekyll and Hyde.
A LOT of people when they beat us, I think our fanbase just has a penchant for drama but they’re a fecking awful watch.

crazy that I'm watching a game and want Ipswich to lose so we don't get dragged into the dogfight at the bottom. how we have fallen

Remind me what the rules are about surrounding the ref?

Some Fulham fan clearly not happy with Leif Davis, whatever they are shouting doesn't sound very nice.

Dreadful goal to concede, Shirley Bassey would probably have got a better connection on that clearance.

The microphone is definitely picking up some Fulham fan who has been yelling their disapproval the whole game.

Seems to be a lot more when it comes down the Ipswich left.

Also is it me, or does Iwobi look like he has really small legs and feet compared to the rest of his body?

I had to look it up, it's like his legs stopped growing when he was about 10.

Should’ve been red for Davies ….went for the player when he knew he couldn’t reach the ball

Was going to write earlier that Davies and Robinson are two of the best in the league for me at their positions this season and both of them had iffy games today :annoyed:
