Premier League - Matchday 18

Be down to 9 by now if Casemiro and Bruno were playing.

We joke but I do think United are ref to a different standard than other clubs.

At a point today we’d made 2 fouls in the game and both were deemed yellow. It seems to happen every game.

Gomes made 5 himself and picked up a yellow.

Despite having 3x the possession, Liverpool have double the fouls.

How the refs still don’t see these tactical fouls and address them is ridiculous.
Man City have been doing that at least ever since Pep arrived as well, and very rarely been punished for it.

They can’t be center stage if they’re quick and efficient.
I am questioning if there is some kind if connection between this VAR tech company and someone high up in the decision making process. It is almost 2025 surely we should have the know how for this by now

Why do they give Salah all this space? He is 10 yards from any blue shirt. Great finish but for goodness sakes, the PL has some atrocious defending

Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest. It’s an entirely plausible theory. We live in a corrupt world, it’s probably very likely the top brass in the PL are full of corrupt feckers too.

You can tell the left back think he's got the inside angle covered. Salah threads needles though.

I thought the Serie A has some kind of semi-automatic software which shows a "wall" and you can see whether it's offside or not in a matter of seconds? Why doesn't the PL purchase that?
Eh, it can still take a long ass time for the really tight, convoluted calls
