Premier League GW11

If I kidnapped Kane and Son for the rest of the season, where would Spurs finish?
Bale is only a slight downgrade on Son when fully fit, but Kane to Vinicius would be a massive drop-off. 5th maybe?

This spurs side follows the perfect mourinho blueprint he perfected in madrid. Big, physical and athletic side he can discipline tactically, and 2 destroyers of worlds up top to shred opponents in transition

Your not a Spurs fan, of course you wont enjoy it, who has looked the better footballing side today?
That's a loaded question, as Arsenal have dominated the ball and generally looked comfortable without offering any creativity.
Spurs have looked good on the two counter attacks and that's about it.
Poor game for the neutral unfortunately.
This is showing the difference between Top quality strikers and average ones.

To be honest, this is Jose at his best. Same as Porto, Inter and his first Chelsea spell. When he is bound down by expectation or at a club constantly in the media things can go sideways with him. Feel he will take Spurs up a level by the time he leaves.

His record v Arsenal is just incredible. 1 league loss since 2004 isn't it? I agree with I think Dan the Chelsea fan Arsenal should've just bunkered and prayed for 0-0 today.

Mourinho just strolls games like this.

Neither is good enough for Arsenal or United. Arteta seems worse though judging from this season.

Difference better Arsenal and us that Arsenal have absolutely no expectations from them. No one really expects anything from them anymore. They have been a Europe League team for 4 years now. They finished 8th last season and no one really cared. They're at a point if they finish 10th or so it'll come at absolutely no shock to anyone, literally.

Their squad is a bunch of crap players with about 2 good players, and their best player. Auba, is in even a crap form.

Arsenal are no different from Everton nowadays. They're at the same state, irrelevant midtable past it clubs that no one expects much from them anymore.

That's why the media isn't pushing Arteta out so much, and I don't think their fans care that much either. They know they're crap regardless.

We're not in the same state as them at all.

Both of you didn't look good. Arse looked a bit better in my opinion but you were deadly on the counter. And Kane is a pure beast.

Partey, dear oh dear. Pretty good confirmation he’s another player who’s ended up at Arsenal for a reason.

Is there anyone who rates Xhaka? He's such a terrible player. That second goal was on him. Where the feck did he think he was going? My Arsenal mate hates the sight of him. He's ranting about Xhaka as I type this.

Spurs look the real deal this year. We won't win it so I'm horrible position of hoping Mourinho stops Liverpool. Cnuts.
Just root for Chelsea, they're the ones I don't have any issues with in the title race. Still see no reason why we shouldn't be throwing our hat into the ring though, we've got the players for a challenge.

Spurs at 2.25 is a godsend. I regret not putting more on them to win. I thought Arsenal would at least give them a good game and it would be a draw or a hard fight win for Spurs. Turns out Arsenal is just shit hese days. How did we lose to this lot at home is a mystery. If Spurs beat Liverpool at Anfield on 16 December, I believe they will win the title.

Bellerin completely misjudged the situation when he goes for the pass instead of finishing the attack.

He always was more than just a poacher. He was always able to drop deep and play. People have spoken about it in his thread. Many just forgot because of his injury hit seasons and weirdly decided to underrate him talking about he couldn't play in United forward line and all kinds of crazy talk.

I honestly can't believe some here were favoring Martial on him last season because Martial is an upcoming potential and Kane is past it.

As apposed to Poch's? I see a plan here, I see tactics. A team playing well, and making a team look stupid while playing a derby rival.

So is it free flow attacking football? Sorry mate I don't get it. Just enjoy it for what it is. No need to try and make it something it's not and never will be.

Man Utd has more points than any other team in the league this calendar year.
Yeah we also look awful at times and get bailed out by individual performances more often than not. I'm just saying I don't think Ole is the solution but Arteta certainly isn't!

Still think Chelsea will finish above them. Spurs can certainly finish above both Manchester clubs though if they keep everyone fit which I wouldn't have said first day of the season.

Top 5 will probably just break away in next few weeks as Leicester were very nearly 3 games without a win today and they have some tough games over next few weeks.

Matter of taste I guess. Didn't see anything from Spurs so far that makes me admire their football. One good counter though.

But it works so who am I to talk

To be fair, I don't think it's exactly prime Barca either and I'm not a massive fan of purely counter attacking football but it's more the control they're exerting on the match that's so impressive. It reminds me a bit of Jose's first Chelsea team in that they all seem to be very cohesive and organised and brutally efficient. Other than a free kick there wasn't a single moment I thought Arsenal would score from.

Spurs fans must be pleased at the organisation.

Spurs are in the lead, but this isn't a great game to watch unless you are a Spurs fan.

The football is unimaginative and pretty tumescent until they get a breakaway 10/11 men behind the ball and then hit them in transition on the counter.

Without Kane this doesn't work as we saw with Lukaku

I've seen Arsenal play much, much worse this season . I think they've just been out-done by their lack of quality uptop and the amazing form of Spur's dynamic duo Kane and Son.
