Premier League Gameweek 9

You’d think we were the team struggling this season based on this 90 minutes.

This game reminds me a little of when Arsenal last their long unbeaten record at Old Trafford in 2004.

Arsenal form went to pot after that game so interested to see how Liverpool do in next few weeks.....

1-1.

I fully expected you to win but this is 3 league games in a row where you've looked really tired and not yourselves now.

5 minutes then

Don't see why, Man. United made 1 sub today. Liverpool made 3 and the goal so that's still under 3 minutes so no idea where extra two have come from.

Man. United hanging on for the point now.

I was joking. The ref got me wrong

5 minutes so winner is coming at 96:30.

Usual failure to turn up at old trafford. Poor decisions from Klopp (Henderson on the right? Wtf). I'll take the point.

Good work my man.. it worked.

I’ll take that, frustrating that we played nowhere near our best and we could have won that with a different approach but taken in to account how this ground just has a hold on us it could be a valuable point. Need to beat spurs next week.

Well that was just about as shite a display as we could have put on. Happy to get a point in the end.

That will be not remotely be a problem.

Yeah quite a few things we could have done differently, one of the three subs should have started but he was never going to leave Henderson out.

Ugly game. TAA with 20 hopeful crosses which led to nothing. Firmino was shite. As was Henderson and Wijnaldum. Ox came on and was shite. De Gea had the easiest game of his life against the league leaders. And Ole employing Big Sam tactics at home to their biggest rivals. Ugly ugly game

Happy with the result. Not so much so the performance though. Still, prior to our kick off against Leicester last week I'd have been ecstatic if someone would have told me we'd be 6 points clear after playing United away.

Always tricky anyway playing sides fighting relegation

Full strength United side win that pretty easily.

Good point all things considered. Liverpool should have cruised it.

Have you forgotten James sat on the floor for a few mins having been smashed a couple of times? 5mins was pretty obvious.

They'll have to win both games this season to retain their title. Looks highly unlikely.

Both teams won't win all 27 or so of their other games! It won't just be the two top of table clashes.
I ust hope City have some actual centre backs playing though, and not 2 centre mids like yesterday!

Not necessarily. Football doesn't work that way!
Pogba would have had more quality in the mid, but wouldn't have worked as hard.

Liverpool are never the same attack with Salah out.

There's a lot of ifs and buts.

Oh of course but United were make shift today with numerous players missing. Liverpool should have brushed us aside but scraped a late point.

I'm aware of that, but even last season you could say that their direct clashes decided the race.

The lead in the table was probably similar last year to how it'll be when they face off this year. City know they have no room for the complacency of a couple of games this season.
It'll be a bizarre stressy watch, for a game we're not in!

Don't forget the xmas period, every team always drops points over that as there's a ridiculous number of games over limited number of games.

That's usually Man. City's worst period of the season under Pep, lost three out of 4 last season although managed to get themselves together and beat Liverpool which was huge in the long run.

We’ve got a weird mental block at your place. Players making daft mistakes and hiding. It’s just odd.

I’ll take the point and be happy with it considering how poor we were.

Thought you handled the game well in the first half but invited us on too much in the second. You needed more of a threat on the counter because the gaps were there.
