Premier League Gameweek 7

Tim Sherwood at half time saying Spurs would win it...
No way you can convince me that homegrown Danny boy can't do a job for us up front at present
Are you saying Danny boy is better than Persian Emperor Zirkzees...

Very enjoyable game.
Not sure either team has realised you can defend just yet though.

And people think it was utterly improbable we could have come back from 1-0 to Tottenham with 11 men and a whole half to play.

Why have so many Brighton fans left their seats while their team is clinging on to a 1 goal lead?

We're two points behind Spurs  Had no idea they've been so bad. We really did Postecoglou a favour.

So that means 5 out of our 7 matches have been against the top 10 teams. Reverse Liverpool.

Laughed at everywhere when I said that Bruno red killed United last week.... this is exactly why, Spurs can't go the full 90, it is known.

The transport out of the stadium is awful, so many people leave early to beat the rush.

Yeah they're nothing special yet as is our specialty recently, we made them look like peak Barcelona.

Another team that got all giddy about beating a terrible United team and then go and lose their next match.

We should be giving serious consideration to signing Welbeck. He honestly would be a major upgrade on our forwards.

Heck of a half time talk from Hurzeler. Brighton did very well in picking up a Bundesliga 2 manager. It was a gamble but seems to be paying off. I actually admire the structure at Brighton. Dare I say, we should aspire to build something like what they have.

What happened to Wolves? I don't follow the league that closely, but I'm under the impression that a couple of years ago they were pushing for European football? This is quite a fall from grace.

Big Ange won’t last the season. He has spent big compared to previous managers. Still same old spurs

Mendes...

From experience, the train service post match is appalling. People leave five minutes early to avoid an hour in a queue.

Add to that, no trains on the main line between Brighton/Three Bridges today due to engineering work and an inadequate bus replacement service.

Just watching the highlights of the Chelsea v Forrest game, what on earth was JWP doing grabbing the ball like that while already on a yellow?

Destroying a counter-attack and earning his team a point. It was funny how he tried to hide the most obvious handball ever

They've played liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Villa, and Newcastle.

Drew away against Forest and lost away to brentford. Next up is city, so don't reckon they'll get points there either.

They are probably still where they want to be in the Storey table for a top half finish though.

I think Leicester will stay up but only just.
Doubtful.

Losing Maresca was big hit and I don't think that we'll stay up. I've already made peace with it.

We're still relying on a 37 yeards old Jamie Vardy, we don't have enough quality in the squad and I doubt that Cooper is up to the task. We're currently in a limbo, too good for the Championship but not good enough for the PL.

Unless the teams above us massively shit the bed, we will drop at the end of the season.

They haven't played us to get their win :)

You look a lot better than Wolves and Southampton.

You just need to be better than 1 other team.

It's likely between yourselves and Ipswich, with Everton also in the mix.

Taking one for the team. Like Ole v Newcastle

He was clean through. Arguably he saved them a point

It was all caused by his own faceplant under zero pressure though
