Cheers .Yes, rather than going through on goal difference.
What did he say?
We were hammered recently by an Everton side who have been bitch slapped around the place by some of the leagues bottom dwellers this season.
Including Hull who we have still to face after Arsenal.
+14 is not a bulletproof goal difference spread across 4 games.
What did Stevie Me say?
5 years back maybeIf that was Rafa Benitez who had taken Gerrard off with them needing a goal he would have got savaged.
Honestly seems like Mou spoke to him quite a bit about making the move from Liverpool. Probably a lot of tapping up went on there.Jose and Gerrard sound a bit obsessed with each other.
And Mourinho was his mother. You could be forgiven for thinking Gerrard had died.
I would rather go through by points, than having them being all woe is me regards selling Suarez and Sturridge being out injured.Cheers .
If they do get ffp points deducted they might not this time.QPR literally get relegated every other season. Somehow they make their way back up each time despite being incredibly shit.

Saw this on RAWK. Did Brenton really say this?Hahahaha, Rodgers admitted that he took Stevie off so that he could get an ovation from the Chelsea crowd. fecking joke.

Liverpool have Crystal Palace next, it'd be nice if Palace turned up for that game...if Pool lose points there then no niggly worries - it will be well and truly over.

"Steven has worked brilliantly and it was more just to give him the acclaim on what will probably be the last time he played at Stamford Bridge"

What has gone on there? Did City offer him renewal at lower wages, or did they not offer him a renewal at all?
Wait what? Aren't you a United fan?Funny of Stevie G to mention our fans. I often heard "is this a library?" chants from away fans at Anfield this season.
Even RAWK has been complaining about their shit home support this year.
Never underestimate the pessimism of the caf.Wait..there are some who think we could still loose 4th place?

Yup. Its astonishing really.Never underestimate the pessimism of the caf.

Ffs, how could people still worry about finishing fourth and then expect us to go through the CL qualifiers? If we're hammered at fecking Hull then we better not turn up against Valencia, Roma or any other feckers for that matter.
What's special about his last time playing at Stamford Bridge?"Steven has worked brilliantly and it was more just to give him the acclaim on what will probably be the last time he played at Stamford Bridge"
I haven't said I expect us to go through the qualifiers?
I do though and I actually expect us to beat Arsenal next week. Was just pointing out that +14 is not an insurmountable difference.
Also expect us to have a much better team come August. Not only will we have added real quality in some key areas, but our key internationals and late arrivals from last year will have benefited from a full pre-season with a Louis Van Gaal who now knows exactly what he's dealing with.
I expect us to be competitive in the league and in Europe (semi-final maybe) next year.
Real, Barca, Bayern, Juve, PSG, Chelsea are light years ahead of us. There are half a dozen others who would still be favourites against us on current form.
Summer signings are still an unknown obviously, but you seem to provide a good argument here as for why they shouldn't be expected to hit the ground running.
Agree with you on Real, Barca and Bayern but I don't think we're as far behind the other 3 as you do.
The margins at the top are tight and we all saw the difference 2 signings made to what seemed a fairly average Chelsea side.
I reckon we've only seen very fleeting glimpses of the squad being entirely comfortable with Van Gaal's systems so far and I'm looking forward to seeing a much more cohesive United next season. My main worry is that we lack enough players of real footballing intelligence to really excel with this style.
Chelsea have a solid defence. Ours is a shambles, and the thing is that with the back four you need time whereas we need at the very least a first choice CB and RB. That before the issue of not knowing who our GK is gonna be come August.
We absolutely need a CM.
Going forward we offer nothing. This needs to be addressed too. RVN could well be past it, and Falcao is a joke. I hope Rooney is back scoring when he's not being fecked in midfield, and Wilson is still a young boy.
We're clearly behind Chelsea, as a 20 points gap indicates.

Only now?!
Not disagreeing with you at all. We have been every bit of the 16 points worse than Chelsea this season.
I just have confidence that we will be a hell of a lot closer next year. I don't see them being as unreachable next year as Barca or Bayern.
We will add top quality to our defence and the back of our midfield because we have to. Van Gaals whole philosophy relies on solid, intelligent, ball players at the back which we are sorely lacking. Depay will add pace, width and goals and Di Maria has to much ability not to come good eventually.
