Premier League Gameweek 36

I'm hoping for a draw, that Chelsea isn't great.

He did far more than just score three goals though. Any player who gives a great game all round and scores a hattrick on top of that is always going to win MOTM.

Yeah, I'm not saying he didn't have a good game, just that it was clear to me that Silva made practically everything happen. Just annoyed that pundits again go for the obvious when there were equally or more deserving options in my book.

Mathematically No, personally Yes. Liverpool need a win to realistically keep it going. With GD the way it is Liverpool would need to overturn a +14 GD in two games if they draw today

It'll need Liverpool to then win both their games and hope we lose both ours and also overcome a +10 goal GD

In effect, because of goal difference, IIRC.

Unless we ship 14 in the next two games.

Yes with our superior GD.

Technically no, but because of the goal difference yes in reality.

Cheers chaps.

He scored three goals, assisted Milner's, won the free kick for Kolarov and played a great ball for Bony to play in Silva for the 6th. Silva was good but Aguero was the obvious option for a reason. Aguero quite simply dominated the game, more so than Silva did.

Why does Rodgers wear sooooo much chapstick? Almost lipstick.

Interviewer realised he was talking shit mid-way through his sentence but couldn't stop...

"Jose, probably the biggest day of Loftus-Cheek's l...ife so far....."

Rodgers finds a way of portraying Liverpool as heroic giants for giving Chelsea a guard of honour.

Thank god we won yesterday looking at that lineup from Chelsea.

A part of me says you can't blame them as they've won the league but then, they did so under-rotating their players to crawl over the line and be in this position. They owe it to the rest of the division, like West Brom yesterday, to go out and give it a go with their best eleven.

Chelsea win today and Arsenal win tomorrow and the top four is pretty much set for us while Arsenal and City duke it out for second and third.

Remember everyone thinking Chelsea had chucked a shite line up out, and didn't care about the result last season?

Gerrard up for a round of "on his arse, his arse"?

Chelsea's defenders in the league this season: 9 goals & 8 assists.

Liverpool's strikers in the league this season: 8 goals & 3 assists.

Good to see Gerrard didn't manage to mess up the guard of honour.

are we supposed to have started this Guard of Honour cobblers?

what a lot of pony

Can't mock too hard. We've had to give them a guard of honour before. Temember Terry and co giving us one for the youth team we put out though.

You look at the Chelsea side and think bar Mikel and Loftus-Cheek, that's a first team. Then you look on the bench and think, shit!

They do have a deep squad eh.
