Premier League Gameweek 35-37 + FA Cup semis

Fair play Leicester, punished us today. As for anyone slating us for not doing Man Utd a favour today - we did on the weekend and you didn’t take advantage ;)
 fair play

The only way goal difference was factoring into this was if Leicester matched our point total. So either we fecked up, or Leicester beat Spurs. Take care of two games we should be winning if we deserve Top 4, and then lets wait and see on the Spurs game.

If we miss out on top four, this will be the most painful post Fergie.

Henderson has had a decent game but I wonder how athletic he is, I’ve watched him quite a few times and he seems to struggle with low shots at times (not just today). Maybe I’m being harsh on the lad
I thought he overcovered the near post there personally.

Jose beats them 2.0. We beat Palace today with 3.0 and trash WH with 5.0. And with that we can even lose by one goal last day...if i did my math right.
Easy peasy
Its is goal difference or head to head?

Chelsea are extremely lucky that play both their potential overtakers play each other. Otherwise the money might've been on us and Leicester given they have Liverpool.

This thread is unbelievable  Leicester win and all of a sudden we'll now be incapable of winning the rest of ours.

Disappointing performance from the blades. Win tonight imperative now. 2 tough fixtures for Leicester and Chelsea coming up.

Sheffield United have a good system and manager but they have some terrible players. Mousset, McBurnie and McGoldrick are Championship players at best.

That’s the beauty of it. Imagine if Wilder had millions to throw at it.

Not gonna blame you. You hammered Spurs and Chelsea, and beat Wolves. We should have beat Southampton.

It’s alright. We’ve gotta beat Palace ourselves, hopefully by a big score, and then win our last two games too.

It’s our own fault if we don’t make top 4. Shouldn’t be relying on others to beat our rivals. Need to stop dropping silly points whenever we get the chance to overtake teams above us.

West ham better win tomorrow.
I thought villa were all but gone but they are putting up one hell of a fight.

Sheffield United take a touch, casually jog to the ball, pivot, then pass it sideways... how is that ever going to break a team down?

Am i right in thinking if we finish on the same points as Leicester/Chelsea it is head to head and not GD?

McGoldrick in particular looks way off this level. I expected better from them today, it’s a poor performance all round.

What a signing Evans has been for Leicester. Madness that LVG sold him for something daft like £7m.

You are not right no.

It's GD.
Am I missing something

Head-to-head records

If two or more clubs finish level in the table when competing for the title or European qualification, or when relegation is at stake, their records in the head-to-head matches will now be used to separate them.

In previous seasons, teams involved in these specific battles who finished with the same points total, goal difference and number of goals scored would be pitted against each other in a playoff.

But that extra match is now less likely.

In 2019/20 the team who have collected the most points in the head-to-head duels between the sides lying level on points, goal difference and number of goals scored, will take the highest finishing position, while the team with the fewest will take the lowest place.
