Premier League Gameweek 34 (which is not the same as gameweek 35)

It’s flying under the radar a bit but the Anthony Gordon transfer isn’t going well, is it? They don’t seem to play well at all anytime he starts. His last start was the 3-0 loss to Villa. Then they win 6-1 and 4-1 without him.

Back in the side today and 1-0 to bottom of the league at half time and he is taken off. Looks a bad fit so far.

yeah I just bumped the thread about him, I'm watching our game but also Newcastle and he's been really terrible in the first half. Offers nothing to this team and he costed a fortune!

Must have suffered one freak injury there... Stretcher and directly strapping his whole leg. Fractured ankle maybe ?

City are playing with fire here. So many casual, dumb mistakes against a team that was dead in the water. Very Arsenal like.

Callum Wilson and Alexander Isak are two very good attackers to have. Newcastle have a really good foundation there

Who's that?
Yeah Andreas Pereira, looked a simple head challenge but fell very awkwardly, held his ankle straight away and the physio did the same until the stretcher came

Every game Grealish moans, dives and complains non stop, but somehow it’s only called out and disgusting when Bruno does it.

I believe that Newcastle losing the League Cup final has actually helped their league form after it. It’s motivated them to keep going and I get the feeling if they did beat us in the final that their league form would have suffered a lot. There’s a reason why cup finals are typically at the end of the season because usually when you win a trophy, you kinda don’t feel like playing more games and it requires a club to have such high standards of winning, a coaching staff with similar standards and players who can handle it too.

And with Newcastle’s barren trophy run with players and coaches who’ve never really won anything before, it could have been a double edged sword.

Bournemouth being all but safe is remarkable considering terrible they were at one point. Parker said they can't compete yet here they are.

Leeds are off unless they sack that manager. Keep being battered by shite teams.

Leeds going down, Bournemouth absolutely smashed them. Amazing job by Bournemouth and Gary O'Neil to stay up with comfortably the weakest squad in the Prem.

Shocking 2nd half and we were piss poor, today will give hope to Arsenal.
Ederson as I said in the first half having one of those days where he was 2 seconds behind everyone else nearly cost us. Massive feck up and lucky not to concede a pen, lazy and let all his errors get in his head.

Workman like but a wins a win at this stage.
Now Frank to get his only win on the season on Tuesday would be nice.

Craven Cottage is a difficult ground to go to, pressure on City. Now back on Arsenal... I'll be pretty surprised if we get anything from the game anyway...

Grinding wins out in the run in is what champions are made of.

I read that and thought, jesus did they concede a last minute goal?!

You won 2-1, and are now top of the league with a game to spare... that'll give zero hopes to Arsenal.

We were terrible though, looked genuinely nervous.

Sky have a great habit of stuffing the studio with Liverpool fans and finding a player who played for the opposition and Liverpool as well.

Draw would be perfect but can't see spurs getting anything unfortunately

Embarrassing for the bottom league clubs that Bournemouth are doing so well in comparison.
