Premier League Gameweek 30-32

Don't have any great love for West Ham but I really enjoy watching Newcastle suffer

I will be gutted if that passage of play is allowed against us

Was pathetic from the Newcastle player, rightly punished for being a weapon.

Love seeing players going to ground for an eye "injury' to stop play and then concede! props to the ref noy buyin it

That was some good karma right there. Went down trying to get a foul, pretended it was a head injury and gave up the goal

That’s a legit goal. The cheek of Newcastle to argue that.
That's not legit when a player is down after stoppage of play. That needs addressing. If it was advantage and game allowed to carry on them that's fair.

great decision from the ref

Sick of players pretending to have head injuries just to stop the play. He barely touched his face.

It was a West Ham free kick. Schär was down playacting.

He dived, there was no contact, referee rightly allowed play to go on. I'd be absolutely ashamed if that was a United player play-acting and giving up a goal.

A player is down because he is faking an injury after a finger brushed off his face. Karma for being a cheat.

If he gets up and defends or stands in front of the free then West Ham don't score.

Obviously Schar was embellishing and the referee didn’t buy it. Glad they got punished.

Terrible decision for the Burn foul (clearly just took Kudus out as he was accelerating away from him) but then good refereeing to let West Ham take the quick free kick. West Ham playing some really nice stuff and deservedly ahead.

Would be very keen to prioritise getting Paqueta in this summer. Think a midfield of him, Kobbie and Casemiro would work well or being Bruno in for Casemiro for easier hole matches.

The rule though is that when you stop a play then any player on the floor play acting or not must be addressed.

Agreed. VAR needs powers to send players off for feigning head injuries when replays show minimal contact.

Son against us during Covid. He stayed down so long that they brought oxygen on for him and replays showed one finger brushed his cheek. 3 match ban for the cheating would stop it.

A goal from a quick free kick, feels like ages since I saw that.

Any free within 40 yards of the box takes 90 seconds to set up with the wall, wall foam and the ref wanting to get on telly by pointing to his whistle.

A rare bit of good referee work in this game to not fall for that "head" "injury". Schar trying and failing to do the Lebron where you spend enough time on the floor pretending to be hurt so the refs to review it for something more than it was.

Eddie Howe and his shithousing punished for once. Newcastle are one of the dirtiest, scummiest teams in the PL, always trying to con the ref.
