Premier League Gameweek 30+31

My page is full of ads for hideous Liverpool hoodies. It can't be anything to do with my search history, there's no mention of tits or serial killers.....

Your ads are based on what you google buddy. Nothing to do with the Caf.

Not saying your a Pool fan, but someone is googling them on your router/modem.

Typical Hodgson managed performance against Liverpool. Raise their game to get results v City only to roll over to get their bellies rubbed against Liverpool.

Would be interesting to see shots on target for Liverpool must have had about 10 in just the last few minutes

You've only got yourself to blame for thinking they'd mess up this lead

I'm resigned to it so it's a little easier to accept, plus no proper celebrations helps. It would have been SO much more painful last season where it went to the final day. Had City fecked up and Liverpool snatched it right there, ugh.

True I don't really think they would blow it, but I still hope for it. I think I almost want it over as fast as we can now. Although still do not want Chelsea to win tomorrow.

Could end up in a similar situation to Lamptey with us where he leaves due to no pathway (unless TAA becomes a midfielder.
Probably the latter, groom TAA for right wing or midfield role where Fabinho plays, theres been talk of that for a while because of Williams coming through. Williams is a decent attack RB but he'll be better defender than TAA.

We played well. That was the most important for me after we've been quite poor since the famous winter break.

I would love to have the opportunity to win it at Etihad now, so I am not bothered if City beats Chelsea tomorrow.

Your game today was promising. Early days, but the blueprint to open teams who sit deep is there with a midfield with both Pogba and Fernandes. They proved today, that they can play together. Keep Pogba, get a good replacement for Matic, and your midfield could be sorted for years. And maybe Martial could be the answer after all. And maybe Solskjaer could be too. A lot of reasons to be optimistic at Man United right now.

Martin Tyler just said that a Liverpool player asked the ref during the derby, if the 1 metre away from the wall at a free kick was due to social distancing
Youd be surprised how many players and managers don't actually know the laws of the game. I got lambasted a couple of seasons back for making a team retake a free kick from inside their own box as it didn't leave the area before someone else touched it. The abuse I got for "time-wasting" and "not knowing the fecking rules as it's not a goal kick ref" was hideous. After the match, I took a bit of pleasure in showing them the laws of the games.
(That law has now changed but at the time, the ball had to leave the area for a defensive free kick that was awarded within it)

The sooner Liverpool officially wrap up the title, the better. The lot of us can bitch and moan, etc. but they totally deserve it and that's fine. No bitterness there.

But once that's official, we can all focus on the run in for what could take place for United. Is it true that United could have up to 16 total matches between now and the end of the season, which is about a month from now? PL, FA Cup, and Europa. That's a tall order, but should be exciting. Really have to rotate massively for the FA Cup match against Norwich and see how the team reacts against Brighton.

Anyone else think Arsenal are in for another painful evening?

5 and a half hours more before Chelsea fans can begin celebrating giving us the league title. Oh and their own hard earned point/3 points too.

Trust frank lampard win the league title for liverpool before Gerrard...

I wonder if City players would prefer to lose it tonight than having Liverpool win it at their place. Can see them being half arsed against Chelsea.

Hope Pep still plays a strong side even though he said he’s got one eye on Newcastle. Although their bench is hardly lacking. Losing Aguero’s a big blow but Jesus seems to score usually when he plays. Really need Chelsea to start dropping points and this is one of the most likely games they’d be expected to.

They will have to give a guard of honor though?

That’s the worry, although I hope the fact that Pep’s a mad perfectionist Overrides that and he expects them to win the remaining games.

They will give guard of honour in that case which is even more humiliation.
