Premier League Gameweek 30+31

TAA is a great attacking player. Great free kick tonight and is probably the best crosser in the league.

Shame Zaha had to go off would of been an interesting battle as defensively he can definitely be got at.

This kind of game (Liverpool vs Crystal Palace) kind of shows that we cannot be depending on teams like Palace to stop Liverpool winning the League. Rather we should be doing the job ourselves.

Where is that guy earlier today saying Fabinho was an example of a failed Ligue 1 signing? This board is becoming as lunatic as RAWK circa 2010

For a midfielder who can strike a ball so well, it's crazy that he's only scored 2 this season and both were almost identical. Never going to hit the headlines but Fabinho is such an important player for us.

So Chelsea can win the league for Liverpool tomorrow. #Vomit.
I’ll have the Jameson bottle ready and waiting. Brothers a Chelsea fan so I’ll get the song list off him. I hear it’s quite lengthy and varied.

One of the biggest mistakes the Glazers have made over the last few years has been the failure to sign Fabinho for United, especially when he was linked quite frequently to Old Trafford.

Regardless I wonder if that poster was aware that Fabinho helped a side that featured Mingolet, Moreno, Lovern & Lallana to win the Champions League, in his first season as well.

Lack of a crowd I think its effecting them too. The bigger teams are playing without the weight of a stadium pressuring them into winning against (so called) lesser teams, and the lesser teams are missing that massive boost. I think what we are seeing is without fans and the pressure it brings, top teams are capable of mullering most sides.

Definitely. Another example in this Pool game tonight. Far too easy for them.

Palace is probably going to have the most say in the top 4 race. Play all 4 of Leicester, Chelsea, United and Wolves, and are probably capable of the biggest range of performance levels of anyone. Capable of huge upsets and excellent performances, capable of looking like relegation standard. They beat us once this season so hopefully we get them on a bad day next and they have good days vs Leicester and Chelsea.

Another typical Firmino nothing performance. I’ve said before, because he doesn’t score, there is this lazy narrative that he is doing everything else so brilliantly and Salah and Mané are just taking the plaudits. Goals aside, they are still so much better than him.

I feel sick. They have done it pretty much. I guess the hope of them messing it up kills you. Great that we won at least tonight.

I actually think the break has been great for that. It was all but done and accepted. The formality of finishing it off is a non-story for me now. Its done and dusted. Far more interested in the things yet to be decided now and enjoying watching those games.

It was bound to happen at some point anyway, at least it wasn't in Slippy G era :D

You've only got yourself to blame for thinking they'd mess up this lead

I'm resigned to it so it's a little easier to accept, plus no proper celebrations helps. It would have been SO much more painful last season where it went to the final day. Had City fecked up and Liverpool snatched it right there, ugh.

Martin Tyler just said that a Liverpool player asked the ref during the derby, if the 1 metre away from the wall at a free kick was due to social distancing
