Spurs got rid of and replaced Mourinho to be "More attacking". Only to hire Nuno and Conte.

Yeah their midfield is bypassed pretty easily. Wolves playing really well though, certainly winning the midfield battle.

Conte's style might be successful but it comes at the cost of it being just horrible to watch. I know we're desperate, but I'd much rather we look to you know actually play football instead.

I don't know why people were praising him last season for squeaking into the top four. Papered a lot of cracks considering the forward line they had.

If I was a Spurs fan I'd be worried how easily Chelsea and Wolves have bypassed their midfield.

At Chelsea, Conte had Kante which helped Hazard and Costa immensely.

It’s self inflicted too. Hojbjerg, Bentancur, and Bissouma are their 3 man midfielders and they’re all very average creatively.

I agree there a bit slow but Neves could be our deep lying playmaker who sprays the passes across the pitch. If we’re trying to implement a possession based style then we’d get away with 2 mids like that, aslong as they can pass.

Ruben Neves is so good man.

Seems like a top team is never in for him. United have been crying out for a DM for years. Even Chelsea with Kante and Jorginho aging, probably should have taken a look at him this summer.
