Premier League Gameweek 3

It’s easier to judge the league after 10 games but West Ham don’t look great so far. They have so many players out of form and/or purple patches.

Brighton are very good these days (and a bogey team for them - apparently they haven't beaten them once since Brighton came up), and they were very unlucky to lose to Forest really.

I can see them getting back on track against Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa™ and finishing fairly comfortably top half again.

Dunno, so many of their top players look really meh this year - Rice, Soucek, Bowen etc.

Newcastle is in good form at home but City has won their last 6 games against them. Still expect City to beat them.

Think Arsenal and Spurs really looking solid. Granted it's only 3 games into the season but City look light and Liverpool was uninspiring. Chelsea and United look lost.

Too early to tell, but it doesn't look that new signings will make a big difference at Chelsea. They have good squad depth though.

Too early a call imho, they are still a proven squad and will find their way. How many games are played in the PL before the WC break? It actually resembles two different seasons squeezed into one, a bit like Apertura and Clausura tournaments in South American football: what we see before, could look very different two months later… provided that they can stay in the race for their main target.

ps. where do you expect Utd to be in the table at the WC break?

Hope the barcodes can beat them or at least get a point - if not I need a Haaland hat trick for me FF

I haven't followed Newcastle for a while. I thought Lascelles was supposed to highly rated and a future England CB? Why can't he get in the team for them, just hasn't panned out or something?

Newcastle really just need a LB, attacking mid and a right winger. Surprised they're not in for Aouar at least.

Joelinton is the new Dembele. Failed striker, solid midfielder.

Kyle Walker straight into DM and a double pivot with Rodri.... fecking mad this system.

Every team now presses like absolute maniacs up the pitch and look to transition like a steam train. Almost like a football cheat code, feel counter attacking is coming back in a big way (my personal favourite).

There is a sea change happening this year.

The day someone works out to fill the space vacated wide and vertically, City will get hammered.

And once I work out cold fusion, I'll be rich.

The commentator is jerking off over Gundogan, but the pass by Silva was amazing.
