Premier League Gameweek 29

I also don’t get the moaning. It’s annoying when Liverpool players get let off several fouls etc, but as long as the rules are applied to both teams it makes for a better game
I completely agree with you mate. With another referee, Liverpool might well have two more yellows but equally City might well be down to ten men. In that case, I imagine there'd be other fans complaining that the ref has ruined the game by being trigger happy.

My overall point is that I just feel refs sometimes can't really win. There have been a few fouls in this game but it really hasn't been one that's been absolutely riddled with them, and it's actually been a really good game of football. I agree with the commentators that Simon Hooper has handled it quite well; he's chosen to adopt a more lenient approach and has applied that consistently to both sides.

Tbf to Pool, that cnut Rodri should be off
So should Fabinho and Trent then. They'll be more made of the Rodri one because of the Liverpool players surrounding the ref, wonder if they'll get charged for it?

Are we as a fanbase ready to have the conversation about how Grealish was a much better purchase than Sancho yet?

Grealish does also have a big gowly, slappable face though, so it swings in roundabouts.

How is Rodri still on the pitch? If Rodri was Casemiro he would have been sent off by now with a second yellow in quick succession.

Trent and Fabinho should have been sent off

So easy. Surprised Alison didn't come for that ball to mahrez

This is the best City have looked in the league for a while, no Haaland = party?

Liverpool have done little in this game so this constant talk of it being a high quality match is nonsense

They need to build a statue of him when he retires.

Inhalers not working any more today ??

Why are the players and fans annoyed at the late flag? We know it's going to happen for years now
