Premier League Gameweek 29

I think Wenger is leaving and the players know it and can't keep their shit together.

If he is leaving and has told the players, not announcing it publicly is one of the stupidest decisions I've ever seen.

Either he intends to stay or he knows, and is keeping it quiet so not to disrupt the squad. The alternative, to disrupt the players but not tell the fans would be idiocy. A public announcement would remove all pressure and set him up for a lot of good will in his last few months.

Looks the assistant flagged for a foul on Azpilicueta or flagged Berahino offside for nudging Azpi on the back.

Why is the commentator debating whether Berahino is interfering with play or not? He pushed Azpi over ffs.

If Crystal Palace - Watford ends 0-0 I'm losing out on 100 euros.

If Everton win today, we'll finally move from the 6th place after this game week. A win will take us to 5th but a loss or draw will move us down to 7th.
Haven't they played 2 more games then us?

Hahahha

Yes!

I will stay in the club forever, blud! Forever fam!

Maybe he has only dropped hints, who knows, but the players looked so unbothered in that game...

Penalty! Gary Cahill clumsily pushed down Walters when Courtois had that.

I see that it's not a strong push, but he still pushed Walters on the back.

I do agree.

How would a public announcement alleviate pressure? The fans would suddenly what, get behind the team?

That equaliser was coming anyways. Stoke were playing with confidence and continuously testing Chelsea's defence. Chelsea's midfield has struggled to deal with Stoke's counters.

I think they would yeah.

A lot of them want Wenger to go and a lot of the anger comes from a fear that he might be staying. If they knew he was off at the end of the season it would remove that fear and free them up.

This uncertainty over his position is making things even worse

I reckon with the service he's given the club, 99% of them would say fair play - he's resigned and we'll get the new blood we want in the summer. Let's get behind him, thank him for his service and give him a send off.

Maybe I'm just naive.

Diego Costa needs to keep control of himself. He's not going to get any favours from the ref if he remains petulant.

Bardsley with a stupid challenge on Costa when Costa was already out of Taylor's favour. His studs-up challenge just put that in the balance for Costa now.

Well done Bardsley, you're just going to make Taylor provide more favouritism for Costa now.

That's the reason why Wenger needs to announce he is leaving at the end of the season. Just look at Leicester.

Stoke have spent the entire game slyly kicking Costa. Gotta love it. cnuts getting his dues.
