In fairness they probably should've lost 5-0 to us but our attackers were taking the piss.
 
Can't work out if they're super lucky they're playing such a poor away team in Lu-on

Funnily enough Gakpo did come on at HT for Nunez who is now also injured. Salah & him are both touch and go for Sunday.

Yeah it was fairly easy for United to get in behind them. Proper finishing would've seen that finish 4 or 5-1.

It will be 0-0 for about 40 mins. Liverpool will score just before half time. Then get a couple of late goals and make it look comfortable.

Their game plan is incredibly plain and boring. Just hoof the ball upwards and hope the opposition defender makes a mistake while one of Diaz, Jota, Gakpo, Nunez or Salah feed on scraps.
 
Chelsea beat what Liverpool have put out tonight imo so I presume Salah has been rested as a precaution.

Liverpool will win regardless. Anf if it's tight the referee's will help them out.
 
If Luton approached every match like they do the ones against the big name opponents, they'd be well up the table.
 
Why is it so hard giving anything against Liverpool at anfield? Luis Diaz with a blatant dive inside the box. No signal or yellow, just play on so they can launch another attack and keep the pressure on. Blatant trip, free kick 10 times out of 10. Not giving it against Liverpool but invent a throw in Luton’s way to appease both sides despite the Luton player obviously playing the ball last. What the feck is wrong with these refs?
 
Liverpool conceding early against Luton.. makes our win look better. They aren’t as easy as some people think
 
Diaz and Elliott are stinking the place up in the final third.

They've only had 1 injury crisis in 10 years so they were well overdue for one!
 
Shocking quality in the game. Looks like two League One teams. Players are all over the place and passing is just horrendous.

You can’t really say it’s luck when you buy players like Konate, Matip, Thiago and Jota, who have always been prone to injuries.

Then on top of that, being back both TAA and Salah way too early for easy games and get them both reinjured.

It’s just bad management.

Indeed. People here downplaying our win vs Luton. It was a hard fought win, that's because Luton are a very resilient and tough side.
Really puts things into perspective.
 
Luton players getting booked for nothing incidents. Gakpo forcefully smashes some guy's arse and no action taken.
