Premier League Gameweek 22

Conversely we'd only be 2 points off City in 2nd having played them twice.

Yup, and they have to play the league leaders twice, which if City win we are suddenly back in a title race and if they lose them then we can jump above them if we keep up out form.

I don’t think we have any reason to be looking behind us atm, should only be looking up.

Tyler sounds like he wants to scream for that city equaliser eh?

People being so afraid of Spurs finishing ahead of us when we're playing so well is pretty pathetic tbh. I think we have a good chance of finishing 2nd with the way City have looked since World Cup. If Arsenal lose the league it's going to be down to them messing up. Makes no sense to not want us to be the team to capitalise if they slip up (especially to our rivals btw, since many on here seem to have forgotten that point).

Newcastle and the sides below Spurs should be the only teams to be worried about Spurs

Whatever happened to Laporte and Dias? Surely they'd be better than whatever this current disaster is going on at the back?

-How was the game Jack, son?
-Great dad!
-Did you score?
-No!
-Did you get any assists?
-No!
-Did you guys win?
-No! But I won 12 free kicks!

City can't defend... They are so lucky Spurs have been utterly shit with finishing their actions...

Totally agree. Don't understand the pessimism when we're consistently playing so well and have clearly improved heaps and bounds as the season has worn on.

Kane has that Suarez 'skill' where he's just somehow capable of walking through tackles by being jammy.

I don’t get it at all. Pep’s having a bizarre season. Really won’t be surprised if it turns out he’s fallen out with half the squad.

Grealish enjoys being fouled. I am pretty sure he takes being fouled by last player than going clear on goalkeeper anytime.

Our goal is top 4. Spurs are the biggest threat to that. It’s really as simple as that. Finishing 2nd or 4th is largely the same thing (other than as a mark of progress)

Spurs kicking the sh* out of City and getting away with it. Refs like this one are very annoying.

City not scoring today. What a strange season they are having.
