Premier League Gameweek 22

It is absolutely bonkers.

Akanji deep behind a 4 of Walker, Rodri, Lewis and Ake.

I’ve never seen a 1-4-1-4 formation.

Kind of formation I'd pull when I was bored in FM back when you could still add a Sweeper behind the back 4

I'd rather city win here tbh. Crush Spurs down rather than give them hope as top 4 challengers

Rodri has been so poor but he has no one he trusts around him. Everyone is miles away from him when he gets the ball. This system is so poor.

I reckon Pep has conceded the league and want to do all his experimentation in the league so that he doesn’t screw up in CL.

Rodri playing like he hasn't slept for three days.

Pep can forget about winning the Champions League if they draw an English team. I'd fancy Spurs and even Chelsea/Liverpool to beat them.

He will probably score now that I've said this, but with kdb not pinging in crosses and throug balls, would have made more sense putting Alvarez up top and an extra player in the middle for city instead of haaland

Only a master tactician like Pep could come up with ways in which to continually keep Haaland quite.

Would be nuts given a win takes them two points of top before facing arsenal in a few weeks.

Just think pep does this too often and city really struggle against Kane and spurs

They could easily switch this in game. for some reason he’s sticking with this garbage he’s sent out.

Lewis at left back, Walker right back with Ake and Akanji at cb.

Silva and Rodri central with Alvarez just in front.

Mahrez and Grealish either side of Haaland.

I can't believe the number of forward runs Haaland makes that his teammates ignore!? If he played in front of Bruno Fernandes he'd have about 50 goals already. Bruno would be firing through ball after through ball at him.

Indeed, the players, the formation when they have the ball is weird

Kane would have been a better signing for City than Haaland, which I'll admit is a bold statement considering Haaland's goal tally but Kane just fits the way City play so much more.

If Spurs win this, it is hard to deny that we are in a title race.

Win on Wednesday and we are joint second with almost half the season to play.

According to Neville, it's everyone else's fault for Haaland not being involved.

I started watching in the middle of the first half but I get the feeling if Spurs final ball was a little bit sharper this would be a complete tw***ing

Gary just said that was a foul by Romero. Is he the ref from our game yesterday in disguise?

Spurs have rendered City toothless today. City have no passes on and don’t appear to know how to strut their usual possession play.

Everything he said is spot on.
Watch Haaland when City have the ball. He’s making run after run and they’re passing it sideways or backwards. It’s insane.
