I think there's a bit of a dearth of strikers generally. It's a time when Brazil's #9 is a backup winger for Tottenham, Spain are playing Asensio up there, and Germany have started giving games to a 29 year old Bundesliga journeyman because they have nobody else.

Don't really want City getting three on the bounce, but I think Arsenal (Manager and Fans - some on here exemplify them) in particular are largely such objectionable 15-minute LidL Catalan gobshites that potentially watching them burn is a significant compensation. I'd have no such issue if it were, say, Chelsea.

Wanting a City win isn't that difficult to understand. Arsenal need some competition at the top , we need top 4 sealed soon, Spurs are our rivals for top 4 and we aren't challenging for title this season.
