Premier League Gameweek 22

Well done Everton. Does this mean Lampard is a really shit manager? Where was this performance under him? They played really well today!

Put Odegaard and Saka in my FF team. Did I cause this?

impressive new manager bounce for Everton. Not just beat the league leaders, held them scoreless also. The start of another gunners collapse whereby they hand the title to City?

We got well and truly Dyched. Huge workrate, disciplined mid block, scored from a set piece. They also created the better chances.

It means the players gave up.

Lampard might be shit but players all of a sudden trying harder after a couple of days under a new manager says more about them than Lampard.

Didn't need this win to tell you that Lampards a shit manager tbh

Are the wheels coming of the Arsenal wagon? He's messed with the dynamic mid-season...
New manager bounce, Arteta has a crap record at Everton and against Dyche (I think Wenger had a v good record at Goodison by contrast? Which makes it all the more hilarious). Perfect mix.

Saying that I fully expect City will reel them in but they have to go to Goodison too. Everton should've got rid of Lampard months ago.

Wrong mentality from arsenal when they beat united. Celebrated like that was the last big hurdle before the finish line. Halfway through a season is not when a title is won.

Burnley were never fun to play, but Dyche with Everton could go to the next level of shitehouse. Sheesh.

Tbf, Chelsea fans know alot about this ^

I always think that shows that the players gave less of a feck under the previous boss. Seen it many times at Chelsea and it kinda stinks.

Even if Lampard (or whoever) was garbage, players should still be trying.
I see what you mean and it’s a normal opinion if you’re the fan of a team to always want your players to give everything on every game regardless of the manager. However, there is the human and psychological aspect of the game which a good manager must be able to handle as well. Players aren’t robots so if the manager can’t motivate them to put in their best (whatsoever the reason might be) then it’s a failure on the part of the manager. You can blame the players all you want, but it’s always easier to sack and hire a new manager than to change 11/15 players.

They won against Arsenal under him too.

The English ole, he brought good vibes to Chelsea for one season and has been found out as clueless ever since, maybe he can do what gerrard did and go up to Scotland to help give off the illusion that he is a good manager

Everton may have lucked their way to staying up simply due to Bielsa refusing to join them

They won against Arsenal under him too.
But I don't think they played this well? They more or less dominated Arsenal today. But like others have said, must be the new manager bounce.

Great start to the weekend: Chelsea dropping points again and the frauds beaten. Lovely.
