Premier League - Gameweek 17

Problem with City isn't fully that Rodri is out, it's that they have no decent replacement. The rest of their midfielders are 8's rather than defensive midfielders.

I remember 2020-21 Pool were called the worst defending champions given how bad they played after winning the title. City are definitely below that right now.
20/21 Liverpool had by far the worst injury crisis i have ever seen, every matchday came with news of multiple new injuries, which was the pattern of that whole season.

They had multiple huge injuries like van dyke missing most of the season. They were having to play kids and midfielders at centerback for most games that season,it was crazy.

No team would get close to winning the prem with that list of injuries,it's very impressive that they managed to finish 3rd that season.

‘They’

Can't think of a collapse as bad as this one, particularly from a twice reigning league champion.
It doesn’t even look like the same team. They’ve created nothing all day, and it’s like that every game. Polar opposite to what they’re used to in terms of pressure, chance creation etc.

How shit does Haaland look?

Exposed once again. I can’t believe people were talking about him in the same breath as Shearer, Kane etc.

Most overrated player in world football.
Grealish
Grealish used to be devastating. He’s a rare example of Pep’s coaching actually making a player worse rather than better
Grealish has never been ' devastating'.

For once since the last decade we are all rooting against city.

Hate it when the cameras stay on guardiola. No one wants to see him swirling spit around in his mouth. Every game it is

What a goal but City have been awful.

I think we will see a massive collapse now in this game, their confidence must be on the floor.

Rodger’s looks a great player, where did they pick him up from?

Also a lot on here was saying Tielemans was a poor player when we could have picked him up, next to Ugarte he’d have been great.

I can't lie I'm getting a bit suspicious of City's behaviour now.

I've never seen any team have a melt down like this ever and it's all people seem to be talking about now. Distracting from the 115?

One man doesn't make this much difference to a team even if he's (supposedly) the best player in the world.
