Premier League Gameweek 17-19

Don't think I've ever seen Man City so bad under Pep in several years as this first half hour odd. 0 shots and not particularly close to it. Bad passing and lethargic.

Chelsea blocking out the spaces well here. Think they've done ok so far and have their own threat

Chelsea on top so far. Feels weird that we dominated Chelsea at their ground when it’s normally city that dominate teams.

Almost from City

City look very relaxed and play without any urgency/desire/hunger. A lot of games this season looked like this.. they can't seem to get into the games like previous seasons.
There's also a visible lack of mobility up front. If KDB wouldn't have spammed so many balls forward they would have looked much worse.

Can Carragher feck off blowing phlegm into the mic?

My hot take of the evening: Rodri isn't even half the player people try and make him out to be. Not even close to world class for me, a player whose name has been elevated by virtue of playing in a very good team.

Pep doing the Pep thing again and I don’t know if he’s stubborn, arrogant or just bored. Persisting to play players out of position, repeating the setups that didn’t work out already. Foden looks so isolated, KDB on the right with Cancelo makes little sense. His tendency to overcomplicate and persist to not working stuff is unbelievable for such a manager.

Kovacic showing de bruyne up this first halve. Curious has to why he’s the deeper midfield though, I always had zakaria down as a dm!

Almost from Haaland
