Premier League Gameweek 14-16

If they're there or there abouts come Feb/March they'll win the league. We've seen it before. They've looked a level below up till Xmas a few times lately. CL is a cup so different kettle of fish.
The difference this year is there’s stronger teams in the league. Villa, Newcastle and even spurs are stronger. Them 3 are obvs not gonna play a part in city’s title challenge but they’ll give them a test when playing them.

Shocking decision at the end but we brought that on ourselves with complacency early in the 2nd half and letting Spurs get a foothold. Embarrassing in front of goal and paid the price.

Has there been a worse City team in the last 4-5 years? By midweek, there's a good chance they're 4th

Spurs with 3 goals from an xg of 0.59, always seem to pull off miracle numbers against us.

The FA needs to dish out some fines and suspensions for this. We can't have City disrespecting the honorable Simon Hooper like this !

They’re still not on last seasons level. Edit 3-3
You're just nitpicking a few points here and there and ignore the context. Arsenal is not as good as themselves last season, too. Context is the low form.

I said last few seasons. Mind checking where they were in 2020 2021 after 14 games?

We were 11 points behind Arsenal at this stage last year and the league was over, season after Liverpool won the title we were 9th and Gary Neville was telling you guys "Get excited". I've read this same thing 3 times in the last 4 seasons.

4 points worse off this season.

Was so obvious Gundogan and Mahrez was too many goals to just not bother replacing, huge pressure on KDB to hit the ground running when he’s back now

Spurs are luckiest cnuts in the league, how the feck did they draw here, City destroyed them more than Newcastle did to us yesterday.
By abandoning the lost cause defense, and going on offensive? What is the point defending a losing score line?

Hard to disagree here.
City hit the post 2 or 3 times, Haaland unable to shoot on target.
Spurs managed to capitalise on the few chances they had but their play was pretty bad

Doesn't look like city are winning the league this season, thank God.

I'd love to know how that's calculated since Son in that 1v1 position for the first goal to me was nailed on. He can shoot off either foot and is pretty reliable as you get in that position.

I mean I obviously would prefer you guys to win over Liverpool or Arsenal but it's looking quite unlikely this season. I know this is a weekly discussion where everyone just expects City to hit their stride in the second half of the season, they might just be too far off the top this time around. And with KDB returning from a long lay off and all that title winning experience lost it'll be quite impressive if City do it again. Anyway, you guys are likely to go drop points 4 games running midweek as well so it's not looking good right now.

Cause they are not nearly as nailed on as oeople think, The truth is most people feck up that Son chance 9 times outta 10. Ederson should even have saved it today, wasn't a good finish. They don't result in a goal nearly as often as people think.

1v1? There was another defender between them
