Cant fint that post and cant remember who posted it but it was someting about how Liverpool needed that after all the adversity they had. Someone would think a tsunami obliterated Anfield and most of their players went missing or something not that they had a few injuries, something that happend to all the teams every year. Why it has to be so damn pathetic.
Sure, Spurs played ugly, had about 22 percent of poseesion or something like that but as it's said in an analysis above its Mourinho and he sure as hell wouldnt play an open game vs Liverpool. They were under the cosh in the 1st half and Liverpool took a deserved lead but in the 2nd half they were actually a better side for about 15, 20 minutes and had they taken one of their 3 clear chances they would have won. That's football for you, you dont take chances and you get punished at the other end, this way in the most cruel way possible, in the dying minutes and in the most Liverpool style possible. Liverpool had chances but most of it was shots from the distance and Spurs actually had better chances despite being second best most of the game.
Jose should have gone for it near the end, why didnt Bale come in? Or he has and I missed it.
Liverpool is a strong, strong favorite for the title, especially after that win but they surely wont have a clear path to it nor will romp it up to the title like last year. We can laugh at Spurs all we want but they're very much still in it. Problem with them is they're a Son or Kane injury from not collapsing but surely falling from the top.
And last thing. It seems there's more hatred for Jose here than Liverpool these days and its both strange and sad. He's not with us anymore and Liverpool is on the way to equal our league record.
And he talked some bollocks yesterday but he was right about FA double standards, Klopp could beat the hell out of 4th official and everybody would talk about his passion. Jose kicks a bottle and get punished.
