Premier League - Gameweek 12

Captain Tom could probably get passed Walker these days

We were 10 men for most of the game. Missing our main player. When we were 11 men we were the better team (and winning). I'd like to see Spurs 10 men at 2-1. They'd be smashed playing this open
We heard you lot giving this excuse when Saliba was injured during the run of games where you bottled the title to City. Now that you've had Odegaard out injured for a month, he's your most important player. It's almost as if you've not got the strength in depth to sustain a title charge unless you get ridiculously lucky with injuries and have most of your best 11 fit all season.

Surprised Gary Neville on comms didn't just say Walker was done like he was when Jerome Thomas sprinted past him.

He's dragging down that Man. City backline now.

Walkers pace has been such a massive part of how City played for the last five seasons. It being gone and their best midfielders both being absent is a perfect storm.

Was evident at the Euros when he was at fault for numerous goals, including both Spain goals in the final.

I've always thought he was a decent defender with truly exceptional pace that often got him out of trouble. And now his pace has dipped you're just left with a past it average defender.

It’s not almost the case… it is the case. We have less depth than City, so we’ve got to get lucky with player availability to beat them to the title. That’s not some sort of revelation, that‘s the case for every team in the league. And we’ve now seen that even applies to City when the lose a single key player in Rodri.

Pretty much. Mid 30s now and have to think the endless off field drama with him is taking its toil aswell. Will probably be in Saudi land next season.
