Now that you've had Odegaard out injured for a month, he's your most important player. It's almost as if you've not got the strength in depth to sustain a title charge unless you get ridiculously lucky with injuries and have most of your best 11 fit all season.

Walkers pace has been such a massive part of how City played for the last five seasons. It being gone and their best midfielders both being absent is a perfect storm.

I've always thought he was a decent defender with truly exceptional pace that often got him out of trouble. And now his pace has dipped you're just left with a past it average defender.

That’s not some sort of revelation, that‘s the case for every team in the league. And we’ve now seen that even applies to City when the lose a single key player in Rodri.
