Premier League - Gameweek 12

They got a 3-3 there last season with Ben Davies and someone else makeshift in at CB.

21/22 they won 2-3 even after conceding in 94th minute (scored a minute later).

19/20 they got a 2-2 even when it was starting to fall apart under Poch.

Their record up at Man. City compared to likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea is good and they always seem to hurt Man. City on the break so I'm not that shocked although you'd expect Man. City to score soon and then see if their defence can hold out.
It's still only 2 wins in a decade. But they do have a weird hold on City.
But do tend to play in halves and score and concede wildly.

This would be enjoyable if Liverpool hadn't had such a great start.
But it's shocking how crap City look without Rodri, KDB and Diaz.
The wingers look United level at best, Lewis is not a quality mid, Guido long done and even Walker has lost his level.

He's fine as a playermaker in the no8 role. He hasn't the physical attributes to do anything else and he needs to be surrounded with players to offset that. Gundogan and Bernardo are not those guys.

He's and City fans get mad at me for this, a terrible fullback cause he can't defend. I don't think he's good enough to play midfield for us in big games either.
Is he a better midfielder than a fullback? He looks very average as midfielder. Like a bad version of Trent, without the passing range.

Too open at the back. Needs to switch to a back 3, bring on young Pusey to tighten things and stop getting penetrated so easily.

It’s November? City are capable of a 10 game winning streak. Liverpool have barely been rattled yet. They’re capable of a big run of dodgy form. Arsenal are the team I wouldn’t rule out.
I applaud this sort of wishful thinking.
Liverpool have already ticked off some usually tough aways and will possibly have an 8 point lead tomorrow.
Then play City at Anfield. City win there about once a decade and if they don't they'll remain well off. Lose and 11 points by December!

Man City slide very similar to season 2019/20 and it looks like history will repeat itself with Liverpool wrapping up the league title with a few games to spare.

Yeah I'd say he is just cause I think he's an awful fullback (defensively). He's a player who is really tidy on the ball and can move it through the middle, he's also got good positioning for playing that role. Working the ball up the ptich is in my humble opinion his only real strength. He doesn't have the end product when he gets forward though. Basically good football brain and neat and tidy midfielder. That's Rico.

He's fine playing fullback when we have Rodri, KDB etc.. in midfield cause he doesn't have to defend or rarely, and can just tuck into midfield and be neat and tidy, and his style is aesthetically pleasing. But at no other club in word football would he be a starting full back.

Those two away games are far more challenging than playing this version of City at Anfield!
Yeah I agree. Newcastle have already beaten Arsenal at home and we’re a mixed bag at Goodison.

Tomorrow isn’t a given either if we play like a bag of crap like we did after the first international break vs Forest.

You should have won that Forest game though

Thanks. From your description he sounds like a good utility/squad player. A handy pick up from the academy. He seems to play a bit too often for a team with City's aspirations, though I suppose Pep sees a player who he can mould into something much greater.

What's going on with the middle tier? it's like Club Wembley after HT.

Spurs need another 3 goals before I start feeling confident
