Premier League Gameweek 12

Hudson Odoi is the exception, but he looks to be more ready and to have more talent than our young lot.

Still Lampard deserves credit for getting Chelsea playing well

Thats true, he has set up that has made it easier for his boys to come into the team and perform. They all seem to fit into his game plan

Listening to the commentary, I feel uneasy about all the comments regarding Son, they are making him look like a victim or something. The whole "feel sorry" for him is pathetic

If it's close they should just give advantage to the attacking side for these offsides.

That's the point with Rashford, no one knows what he is. If Rashford is someone who would walk into the Chelsea team, who is he competing with? Is he a better winger then Willian, Pulisic and CHO? Or is he a better striker than Abraham?

Rashford is talented but if a team has their shit together he's not getting in the first 11 because he hasn't settled into a position.

Not sure why he should compete with anyone, anyways as a winger his output is better than Willian and maybe Pulisic going by their careers.

Absolutely. We've seen obvious pens not given this season and then they clamp down on this? I don't get it.
The thing is, pens aren't black and white.

We can check if there is contact.. but we have no idea how forceful it was or if it enough to trip a player up.. There is no way to be sure if its a foul or not when its that close.

Offsides are pretty clear to judge. if the attacking player is ahead, he is off.

Do we include a margin of error.. only overturn it if its off by over 1"?
Is that fair? It's either off or it isnt.. If we are using tech, might as well get it right..

The best thing, imo, would be to make it really fast.. The time it takes makes these close calls look much worse.

Aren't Abraham and Rashford both centre forwards?

There was an entire televised segment of his dad talking about how he raised Son to never injure opponents and to not score if an opposition player is down even if the goal is open etc.

Drivel shit.

Well said. Feck Son and his crocodile tears.

Watch him lose the ball and steam after Gomes. Gomes loses him and Son makes a coward's tackle from behind.

He's a twat.

Also ludicrous. Tammy is the same age yet is leading the league in scoring. If Greenwood's class is obvious why isn't he being picked?

Greenwood is having his first proper season and will continue to be slowly bedded in. I think whoever said our crop was better than yours was going over the top. I think we have the 2nd best crop after you guys it seems City are either losing theirs or not playing them at all. Foden probably has less apps than Greenwood this season

He doesn't need sympathy, but then posts like this are just as unneeded and over the top. Making him out to be some psycho monster.

I kind of reacted to the hurting animals comment. Relieved he didn't :)

He really is. His CL celebration was just about "hey look at me, I am sorry for Gomes". He is a diving prick too but once the commentators have their script, there ain't no budging them.
edit: Yes 1-1!!!

It's been given this time, but Dier is actually a world class defender at playing the offside trap

Had they overturned this, I would have thrown the phone into the tv. I am due a new set of both items anyway.

When did Spurs become this shite? Their midfield is non-existent and their defence is worse than ours.

The entire Spurs team are a bit like that, really. They’re super jammy and the media doesn’t really sting them at all, because they’re not really a *big club* anyone cares about in the vein of the rest of the top 6.

Wow, this is worse than I thought. Son can feck off
Yeah exactly.
Glad I'm not the only who noticed it.
