They were picking up recently with that excellent Spurs win but Glasner deciding to play Eze and Wharton in the cup wasn't a bright idea.
if they can keep their first 11 fit they'll pick up enough wins to be o.k imo but clearly without Eze around there's a chronic lack of creativity.
Both carrying injuries apparently.

That's the kind of tenacity we need to see from Hojlund and Zirkzee. There was something there, not much but something, and Haaland was not to be denied.

Brighton need to start playing it over the top. Only way to beat city. Bournemouth had success by doing that.

Brighton to me in central midfield don't have the quality anymore to hurt a Man. City type team who will look for extreme control in games. Ayari and Hinshelwood isn't a patch on what they had two years ago. Their style works better when they're playing a Spurs type opponent who'll leave space for them to break on.
Been chasing shadows so far. Would've been better for them to play three centrally and give Mitoma more licence to drift infield. Joao Pedro on the bench could turn the game but he hasn't played for six weeks.
