Premier League Gameweek 10

Liverpool to equal us on 20 while we finish 13th or 14th will be vomit-inducing.

i just dont see it. they had a nice opening and have had some narrow victories, i feel like salah is carrying them. theyd be lost without him. long long season

B'Mouth deserved it despite us creating a huge amount of chances in stoppage time. Its been coming and hopefully its the boot in the arse we need.

Our rather lucky win at Bournemouth looks better and better by the week

Are Liverpool rotating much? Let’s see where the horrible pricks are in the new year before we start thinking the worst. See how Slot deals with a dip in form. The twats.

Liverpool won’t need to be incredible to win the league. It won’t be some super crazy points total this year for once to win it. There’s going to be so many dropped points by all this season.

Won't hear the end of it if those dippers win the league. Klopp had so many 2-1 wins in his title.

Nope but they'll need to hold their nerve.

You know City will move gears as they always do in the second half of the season. And tbf Arsenal got their form together from Feb-May and that still wasn't enough last season.

Remember Iraola also taking the piss out of our defence despite playing at RB in that Bilbao EL tie where we got completely outplayed by them under Fergie.

Long way to go. They were top in March last year and ended up third. City have a much stronger squad. As long as they are in touch with them then they know if they find their form at the right time it’ll be another title. Liverpool always peak too early. Hopefully this year it’s really early.

Not man good ones though.

There was a lot of pressure but aside from the goal there wasn't much on target, Travers made one good save and Haaland hit the post with the rebound and another save from Doku.

A little bit of rotation, some of it forced.

Backup goalie in net, Jota injured so Darwin Nunez is in.

Tsimikas played today the second time he's come in I think, Gakpo with a recent run after Luis Diaz started the season on the left.

Curtis Jones getting some starts here and there.

Didn't Liverpool do this last season? Win every game by a goal and then the wheels came off in March.

I mean Foden missed two shots from great positions as well he'd normally bury. The one that was practically last kick of the game despite being 18 yards out was cirminal. No pressure, loads of time, just a nervy poor finish.

Jaysus what a shit start to the weekend. Dreading wanting City to win football matches again. Liverpool don’t even have many tough matches coming up

Liverpool aren't that good, they're just taking advantage of a weak league this year and Salah is in the best form he's been in since the last time they won the league.

He had his chance to give them a penalty but he didn't take it. He'll be disappointed with the miss when he watches it back later.

I know we're all tribal but we're humans too, I hate seeing a guy so heartbroken. He'll bounce back Im sure

They were just half chances.

City struggled to create anything of note. And if you're struggling to create and Doku is the guy you bring off the bench you may as well wrap it up and go home.

This idea that Liverpool have had soft opening fixtures doesn't stand scrutiny. They've played all of the top 8 teams other than city and villa.
Neither Bournemouth or Forest were top 8 when Liverpool played them. Forest have done well by beating Liverpool and teams around them but they've only played two teams in the top 2.

The story of the season is finish your games against Southampton, West Ham, Palace, Ipswich and you're in the top 10.

It's still very much Liverpool, Arsenal, City at the top of the difficulty level and then a lot of teams following which varies greatly if it's home or away.
