Premier League Gameweek 10

Can't believe anyone would want Arsenal to win the league. Their fans are smug enough having won absolutely nothing in years. Can't imagine how bad it'll get if they actually win something.

Didn't they spend more than most this summer?

They spent under 100M, developed young players and are looking good for a title race.

I don't get why Klopp hasn't changed things - it clearly isn't working this season.

He tends to not. Unless there's a select few players in top form he's fecked. During that run a season or so back on which they lost multiple home games on the bounce he barely changed anything. Just waited on VVD to return who is a shadow of himself now.

You just know that City will go to Anfield and somehow yet again fail to beat them at that ground.

City over Arsenal to win the league all day long. Arsenal fans are insufferable, City winning is just emptiness.

Nah. It would be quite an achievement if they could do it and they've got a likeable team too. Even though City's success is completely hollow, it would still be better for the league for other teams to win it (bar Liverpool of course). I do expect Arsenal to implode midway through the season though.

Sure, keep saying that. In 15 years time when they've won the most titles in English football it wont feel empty anymore. The new generation wont care about the past.

Xhaka's positioning is creating whole lot of space for Martinelli

I'd take Arse winning the league ahead of Arab Cheat code FC. Behind Chelsea, they're the second most palatable option of our rivals winning (Spuds don't count)

Salah's finished. It's lucky they didn't give him a massive new contract

Liverpool taking this conceding first thing to a whole new level

Doesn't really change much. In fact they go lower on that metric.

Well they’ve spent over £100m this summer so yes it does (you suggest they haven’t)

They also spent £150m last.

They are doing well but they are spending money and not operating on a shoestring

Harsh on the scousers there, thought that was a penalty.

agreed. I can live with City fans - Arsenal's are close to the scousers
