Premier League Festive Season

I feel for Watford. They should have had a 100% penalty minutes ago, and now they lose for the 6th time in a row.

It's weird isn't it? Maybe games used to just carry on but now they stop them. My dad had a violent seizure before kick off at Old Trafford about a decade ago and they didn't delay the start.

Or maybe it's genuinely happening more often. I know we had a thread asking if players were collapsing more often lately.
It may be happening more often but there is probably some element of truth in there being more of a precedent now for people to call attention to situations, trainers and staff going into the stands and games being halted etc. People being more aware and willing to stop the game.

I think that’s what’s happening. People in the stands now actively try to stop the game when someone falls ill, as that’s what they’ve seen happen before. A precedent has been set.

EDIT: Oh feck you Spurs. You’ve been shit. You didn’t deserve that.

Wish Watford and Norwich would just feck off to League 2.

I'm not watching right now but if someone in the crowd needs medical treatment then they've only recently (maybe this season) began stopping the game.

stupid fecking challenge to foul Son when you are defending him with a 2v1 advantage....that's the dumb shit which gets you relegated

Ref casually adding 3 minutes onto 8 minutes of extra time because of one simple goal? Bizarre stuff honestly.

So have watford actually won a game since they thrashed us 4-1?

Ederson got the ball so no pen.
Xhaka tripped him and was pulling his shirt. It doesn't matter if Silva dived. He was fouled already.
Both correct.
Ederson went through Odegaard, check the video on page 67. Though like I said, I'd rather focus on the red card and missed goal, than on the var decisions.
