Premier League Festive Season

Sad I know but I couldn’t help but wonder what his xG in that situation was, one pen + headed attempt at an open goal + another swipe from the rebound off the bar.

The miss off the rebound was a little shocking considering how wide open the goal was and the space and time he had to get the header off.

Leicester are here for the taking but we’ve been so sloppy in the final third.

:( Two games to cram in elsewhere then. Was hoping we would be able to take advantage of Newcastles low numbers.

By who? Don't think I've ever met anyone that doesn't think he's just very average.
Are you serious? There was talk a couple of seasons ago about him being player of the season. National drama when he was out for the Euros. And generally speaking loads of Liverpool fans hyping him up like crazy.

Every Liverpool player is the best in the their position. Always have been, always will.

if leicester are playing the diamond 2 system....it's the worst structure/shape i've ever seen

the liverpool midfield looks like they aren't being marked and are never under pressure on the ball

Newcastle got that cancelled due to injuries and that’s ridiculous
They had a squad of 19 against us less than 24 hours ago. Asm and Wilson got injured, meaning they’d still have 17 minimum. Its beyond a joke how the Pl are allowing teams to get these postponements.

Newcastle got the game postponed by saying their 2 best players are injured?
The amount of time Joelinton was on the floor yesterday I’m surprised if he’ll play again this season! He got MoM as well. Laughable from Sky trying to make him out like prime Zidane

In fairness it was his best ever game in a Newcastle shirt. We tend to bring that out in players, usually it's the Longstaff brothers.
