Premier League Festive Season

Thought he'd over hit that but not only got there but managed a great dink finish.

How the feck are City so open to speed doen the middle in the EPL? Thats all our league does!

Isnt that the case for most full backs?

Not for a player who so many see as a massive improvement on Shaw. Chillwell is a decent improvement but nothing more than that. Would be a waste of money for the price involved.

There have been plenty of fullbacks who can do both.

Mahrez is slaughtering Chilwell.

City are so much better than the rest of the League that it's almost amazing that they are 3rd.

City absolutely dicked the league for two seasons in a row with Pep's way of playing. Why would he change their style now?

Because pragmatics.

It's their openness that is being criticized, rightly so. It's as if they haven't worked on Leicester's biggest threat.

That has been Leicester's only chance, literally.

Dominating team gets caught on counter, it happens. City keep the amount of counters down. World class finish from Vardy (best striker in league on form now??).

Because it's not nearly as effective as it once was. He doesn't need to change it entirely, but a few alterations here and there to freshen things up wouldn't hurt.

Liverpool?

As a footballing team they are a good bit better. Liverpool are excellent but their level of play is a god bit behind City. In many ways Liverpool are a long ball team at their best to Mane and Salah and outside of that it's crosses and set pieces.

I'd argue losing Sane to a long term injury makes it harder for him to make alterations. He gives them something different when he's fit
