Have NO clue why VAR doesn't cover factual mistakes like corners at least. It can determine the course of a game.

Because every corner/throw in would have to be checked to make sure it was the correct call. The game would end up being 3 hours long. IMO if we went down that road, we might as well do away with actual referees and have everything covered by VAR and one person on the sidelines dishing out cards when needed
I hear you, but man it's frustrating to see wrong calls made every single game. Guess it's the part of football one has to accept and move on!
I agree with you on that and as a referee myself, I'm guilty almost every game of going the wrong way with at least one throw or corner/goal kick. It's a pain when it goes against you but I think we have enough VAR for everyone right now
