Premier League Festive Season

This is why Man United should not have defensive full backs. Our full backs being useless going forward is a big reason why we struggle to score goals.

The alternative being the likes of Chilwell? Because he's done great these last two games

Really hope Germany go all out for Klopp because I don't see him going to Real or Barca.

I can't see Liverpool getting a better manager than Klopp either, he's Ferguson like in the sense that he motivate average players to play world class.

I'd be extremely surprised if Firmino is at Liverpool next year. Real or Barca are going to go all out for him in the summer i bet, and you know for a fact he'll want the 'New Challenge'. In fact, i see quite a few members of the squad being poached if they continue as they are.
What would compel them to leave? Liverpool are better than Real and Barca atm and can afford to give any one of their top players a raise if need be.

I don't know about that. Seems like these guys love playing for Klopp. As long as he's around, the squad will likely happily remain in tact.

You have to applaud Klopp. You see average players like Henderson, Milner, Wijnaldum and Origi playing out of their skin. A club where actual coaching happens.

I seriously do see quite a few of them jumping ship to bigger and better things. Lets not kid ourselves, how many players would genuinely turn down Real, Barca etc? Not too many i'd imagine!
Are they truly still bigger/more attractive tho? As a league it seems the PL has only continued to get stronger. Not sure the same can be said for La Liga. Real and Barca's biggest attraction is probably wages above all, maybe location/weather second, the rest seems a bit more trivial.

He just signed a new contract. Unless things go downhill I expect Klopp will be there for a few years yet. We just have to suck it up and accept Liverpool will be top dogs for a few years yet.

It was just a hot run of form for Leicester, that ran out at the wrong time. City were the only team capable of challenging Liverpool for the title and they imploded early on. Every other team has their own issues. The stars really have aligned for Liverpool in every possible way.

Never going to happen you say?
Lets just wait and see in the summer shall we? If either Barca or Real come knocking, he'll be gone. Bet you said the same about Suarez too? That went well...

Everyone knew Suarez would leave, he was a big fish in an average pond. Firmino is an equal in a world class starting XI of the current best team in the world.

There is no comparison of the two.

I think it is more about at least 3(/multiple) players in the box for crosses/ballthroughs. With Greenwood's movement, playing more inside, there were multiple players in the box (Rashford, Martial, Greenwood). With James playing on the right, you just cannot get that. AWB's crossing is a work-in-progress like we saw today.

I like Ally McCoist. He even make's Le Saux less of a gremlin commentator.

Thank God we won.
January won’t be easy and I think well drop a few points.

You literally are racist and didn’t even know it. What a nightmare.
Edit: I’d also like to point out “88” is a very popular number with racists on the internet.
WTF was racist about it? He (she) was just stating facts.

What a way to see off a title challenger. Best game we've played this season I reckon.

I never thought I'd see this shit in my life but here we are with Liverpool about to win the Premier League.

They could be 4 or 5 titles ahead of us at the end of the season. Oh well.
