Premier League Festive Season

Whats up with Ndombele? Do Spurs just keep rushing him back? Went off early in the first half injured, had some great touches and passes, good surging runs drifting past players on a couple of occasions.

Soton fans to Jose, you're just a s&*# Pochettino

Have the Longstaff creatures been frozen again? Seems they only play vs United.

Thats literally the case. They were dropped after the first United game, Newcastle did better without them, then they came back in for the United match and Matty Longstaff scored again. Now neither are playing again, presumably until we play them

Sure, let's go based on his Spurs games......

He's played (up until today) 268 minutes in the EPL. That's 2 as a starter and 8 as a sub. In total, that's the equivalent total combined minutes of three whole games. Now, I ask, are we really ready to make any kind of determination based on the equivalent of three whole games?

I don't think it's justifiable. Not right now. There has to be a much larger sample sizing to throw him under the bus at this point. Even more so when you factor in that he's arrived at precisely the worst moment, at the end of Poch's poor run and immediately into Jose's transition. It only makes sense that any new player might struggle to find their feet.
You misunderstood me, I meant to say watch him from now on until the next few years. He won't show a drastically better football with time.

He got clattered into, would have injured anyone. Just bad luck.

Leicester have pretty much secured top 4 for this season.. too far ahead... and too good.

Just 1 spot to play for.. 4 teams interested. Expect Wolves to fade away at some point.. Chelsea and Spurs led by Jose.. bloody hell.. we cant drop any silly points... which isnt going to happen..

Help us Europa League. You are our only hope
We are in a great position to get the 4th spot. Spurs don’t look great, neither do Chelsea. It’s honestly our to lose. As long as Rashford and Martial stay in good form we look set, imo.

Wow. Now I'm convinced this VAR implementation is being done poorly on purpose. No other explanation for me.

Amazing how quick a VAR check that was for handball compared to the detailed, drawn out analysis they give offsides

Not a penalty? Arm that high-up and the ball travelling a bit of a distance before contact...

I agree, top 3 are settled but 4th is up for grabs. The team that finds consistency will make it, but at the moment it doesn’t look like any of the candidates want it. Strangely similar to the the tail end of last season.

Surely that’s handball. His arm is up in an unnatural position.

And why do people actually want them here if they can't get games for freaking Newcastle?

Apparently Newcastle have made all their subs and then Schar has done his hamstring. Could have to play with 10 men.

How can VAR decide that wasn't handball in such a short space of time. Its feel like it is being done deliberately to get VAR removed
