Premier League Festive Season (Gameweek 18-20)

City will have to get their act together to stop Pool from winning the league. It's mental how Klopp is able to pull off a season like this after such a poor previous season but this is the second time he's done it.
Quite mental how no one remembers the injury crisis they had aswell...

Top of the league with a transitional squad and not playing high-quality football consistently. However, incredibly difficult to beat, the established players are shining and Klopp can use the front five to change matches in a way few others can. A credit to the recruitment team and the brilliance of Klopp. City remain favourites but few saw Liverpool being this far along given last season.

I was refeering to an article posted 2 pages ago. But maybe Mike Riley doesn't know what he's talking about.

Whether or not he happens to be right or wrong in this specific instance, this sentence should never include the word “maybe”.

All that Saudi money and you have Dan Burn as your left back.

I loathe him. He's so shit that I actually get personally insulted by how shit he is, and he seems like an absolute knobhead to boot. I was delighted that every single goal came down his side tonight. He's feckin appalling and I can only assume he has dodgy photos of Eddie Howe because he's so toe-suckingly dreadful that I can't think of a single other reasonable reason why he somehow gets games in the top flight of English football.

More importantly, even fewer give a shit.

Really bizarre the way Jota ruined that Mac Allister "assist", he still could easily score, I don't get it, even if he finally won the penalty. Also Why Alexis plays so deep and Endo was sub is also a bit strange. Liverpool missed tons of goals and Newcastle was extremely lethal with almost nothing

Man City fans calling Everton cheats is top tier football fandom and anyone who thinks otherwise has no sense of humour.

It's not quite "In your Monaco slums..." but it's good.

WHU without Paqueta, Kudus, Antonio, Zouma, Coufal and Aguerd for tonight's game with Brighton. Kehrer also set to join Monaco.

Look at the way this heavily depleted Brighton side keep the ball, pass the ball, and create openings vs West Ham.

Pound for pound we are light years away from them on the pitch.

That was awful. Some teams look out on their feet. Good time to take a break from football for a few weeks.
