Premier League Festive Season (Gameweek 18-20)

Watkins one should have been a pen. Hate this clear and obvious stuff. Is it a pen or not.

How is a double handed shove where the defender also gives him a real shirt tug too not a pen?

Sheffield are tragic. No interest in playing football, only rugby style defending. Every set piece is basically their players holding and pushing everyone in sight.

Really need Villa to win here. Into the last 7 of a LMS comp with a grand to win. Drawing is no good.

What the hell are they even checking? Some grade A bullshit if they disallow this

They look at every goal and see how they can disallow. Either give it or don’t. Hate VAR.

That's a blatant foul on the keeper

Another phase has started for me, it's a goal.

Don't know how to call this
Ramsey is being fouled and he's fouling the keeper at the same time. Can't give it a goal because the keeper is out of commission so it's a foul either way.

They were all holding and pulling in the box.

Should all cancel each other out.

Freezing it down to one frame on one player when there’s so much other shit going on in the box. It’s absolutely mental.

So much protection for the keeper it's unreal, but every team knows it and so does Ramsey.

Good decision, VAR does work occasionally.
Sheffield United wouldn't have been in that situation had the foul been given in the first place, simple really.

That makes no sense.

Player that fouls the keeper is only in that position because the defender is pulling him that way.

The amount of holding in the box there was ridiculous.

I suppose the theory must be, that if everyone does it they can't penalise one player for a foul.

Unreal that it's a foul when the keepers arm is being held? Nota bene from a player in an offside position as well.
