Premier league boxing day fixtures

I feel dirty being happy at Liverpool scoring. Would love it if city dropped points today though. Them dominating at home is terrible.

It would set a platform for others to build on. If we don't do it, I don't see them losing at home again. If we do, then they could stumble a bit.

I think its time to accept that Liverpool could actually win the league this season.

People wanting Liverpool to win  This is like a repeat of 2005 CL semi. 'Oh no way, Liverpool would ever win the final'.

And it doesn't even make sense because compared to our squad, Liverpool's is distinctly average.

fecking hell. feck everyone else, I am gonna start hoping Pool drop points soon and fast

Exactly. Can't understand why anyone would want Liverpool winning this, if they win here they can beat anyone. Can you imagine them if they won the league? It would be unbearable. C'mon City.

Want a draw but City's home record needs some serious back-down-to-earth-bringing.

If Liverpool can do that then all is not lost.

Exactly this. All the other top teams lost here pretty much and I can't see the away form staying as shit as it is. The home form needs to go down a bit to balance the inevitable improvement away from home.

Owen is such a shit commentator. Who thought it would good to hire him?

Yeap, better team since the first 15 mins

I'd be thrilled to see them beat City here. I don't know if people are starting to get worried about the Pool now, but it seems that four years without a title challenge has put their capacity to choke out of our minds. They looked just as good as this back in 02 as well, and faded away. It's not unusual for them to do so, and I remain fairly confident that even if they win here today they aren't going to put in a serious title challenge.

Maybe Skrtl should have tried to defend rather than just pull his shirt

30 minutes in and these two really do look like the two best teams in the league; both playing some great stuff.
