Premier League 12/2/25 - 16/2/25

We should've scored more than one in that half, but defensively as bad as we've been all season. Anything down our right looks like it's going to cause us an issue.

The same poster has been trying his best to talk up a so called title race that doesn't exist.
Assuming they don't score two goals in the second half and if Arsenal can beat West Ham at home, the lead will be down to 4/5 points Saturday night. It doesn't even matter how many injuries Arsenal have when Liverpool keep dropping points. They'll likely win the League ultimately but there's most definitely a race here only because of how dodgy Liverpool have looked the last two months.

Liverpool will still go on to win or draw at the very least. Emery has the worst record against Liverpool than any other club with just one win in 12 matches against them. Bless your heart for trying to talk up a title race wr8_utd

Not watched much of this game at all today but I don't see Liverpool scoring two without reply so, yup, like I was saying pre-match, I'll be quite surprised if they win. Arsenal need to buck up and scrap together more wins till Saka/Martinelli return because Liverpool are properly wobbling.

If we had prime City chasing us I'd already be mentally prepared to finish 2nd. Just feels like Arsenal won't go on the run necessary.

It's 4 points if Arsenal beat West Ham. That's literally feck all at this stage of the season.

History shows that 7 points as of game week 25 usually means that side wins the league. Newcastle in 95/96 being the exception.

Even a prime City wouldn't be needed. I feel last year's City also would have quite easily hunted you down the way you're dropping points.

Exactly why I don't buy this argument that the title race is done. Liverpool obvious favorites but there's a long way to go if they continue this way.

Been crunching some numbers and I believe if Liverpool come back and win tonight and we don't beat Everton on Sat, if Liverpool then win on Sunday....we can't win the title this year. :(

Hopefully I have just made a calculation error.

On the break with space behind the Liverpool back line, Watkins passes it out wide left to Rashford who would have acres of space if he beats his man and he... simply stops, stands still, and passes it back.

That used to infuriate me when he did it for us. Say what you will about Garnacho's finishing, he always tries to take his man on in that situation. For some reason, despite having the ability to dribble 1v1, Rashford simply gives up the take on before he even starts it at wide left. The entire attacking move loses tempo, opponents get back in position, and the counter breaks down.
