Premier League 12/2/25 - 16/2/25

Because we started the season really well. We were second 4 points clear of third around Christmas. Form has completely nosedived the last 6-7 weeks.
Not capping, but how do you rate Sancho so far? I know this hasn't been his best game but overall.

Brighton fans having a field day tormenting Cucurella. He’s played against in recent encounters but bit of a stinker tonight.

Chalobah makes one massive mistake every time he plays. He shouldn't be sold for PSR purposes...he should be sold because he's not good enough.
My thoughts from last July. I have no idea why we brought him back. He's a liability and will remain so until we ship him out, again.

He’s been awful in recent weeks. No impact at all. He was pretty decent in the early weeks, but he’s been terrible since Christmas.

He’s the least error prone defender we have.

I don’t care what anyone says—Danny Welbeck transforms this Brighton team. His intelligence, movement, work rate and link-up play make a huge difference, and even with the injuries he’s dealt with over the years, he’d walk into our team without question.
Easily. Hated the decision to sell him by LVG.

Our fans love doing that kind of shit.

Yep happens all the time on here.

I'm not even saying I knew for sure that Maresca would struggle, I just knew it was way too early to be saying ah he looks a great manager and Chelsea are good again and all that.

Like I said there was a point in his first season where ETH looked a great appointment and we looked to be on the way back and look how that turned out. Chelsea fans seem to be turning on him.

Freedom fighter doing the bits or is it business as usual

Minteh is a winger playing as a wingback, right? No pride, no laziness and doing great for his team. Makes me wonder if playing as a wingback dulls your attacking instincts if you play as a traditional winger or makes you more useful to the team

Listening to the Amex singing

"you know you're a cnut
you know you're a cnut
Oh Cucrella, you know you're a cnut"

Is hilarious!

feck me, I think Brighton have a better player in every position compared to us!

Fofana. Colwill. Badiashile. The lot of them make more mistakes than Chalobah.
Colwill does not, Fofana doesn't either but less about him because he's a bed blocker and Badiashile is so far down the pecking order that he essentially does not exist.

Most of our players in defense can and do feck up but Chalobah never goes without a game without a huge feck up.

What a spanking. Feels good to not be at the end of these BDSM antics from Brighton

That isn’t true about Chalobah. It’s not even close to being true imo. I don’t know, I see Colwill commit silly mistakes all the time. What’s worse about Colwill is that he always stops playing and has a moan while play is developing after his mistake, as if he’s entitled to be gifted a foul to cover his arse. Fofana was making multiple mistakes a game when he was playing earlier this season.

He was getting called overrated on here not long ago cause he’d gone a while without scoring.

He’s been in great form recently but yeah, he’s one of those players who kind of slips people’s minds when he goes through periods of not doing anything noteworthy, then gets everyone fired up when he picks up form again. Wonderful player to watch, but he’s very inconsistent and his end product of the course of a season varies from average to slightly above average.
