Prem clubs lying about match attendance figures, City by 10k a match

Given that tickets and cards are barcoded and scanned nowadays, I struggle to see how it's possible to have inaccurate figures.

Can any Mancs confirm that all these empty seats mean it's easy to buy tickets to City's home games? That's the only way to know for sure that they're not selling out.
There’s adverts on Twitter and throughout Manchester on electronic advertising boards for all sorts of games during the season.

It’s like universities. If you’re going to one that has to spend money on advertising then it is probably a bit shit.

No I'm saying you will always have no shows no matter the game or importance as shit happens. Rule of thumb is 10% for no shows for sports events and other things. That's the average rather than the norm. Some games it's less, other games it spikes. This includes away fans and corporate boxes as well though - it's not just the regular home match-going fan here, as that lot are included in the attendance as well.
Difference is that at United you generally have a seller’s market for passing on the game you can’t attend. With a City ticket it is like pissing into the wind.

Ok....but City fans for years have set themselves apart. Peddled a myth that their fans are the benchmark and that our fans are glory hunters and out of Towners.

Also that they claim Manchester is Blue.

Well if your going to throw blatant lies around you have to be able to back it up.

I'm not really interested in reasons. Yes they'll always be the odd one but I don't think 10% is representitve for football and it's clearly not representative for united.
